La Casa di Alice is a charming little B&B in the centre of Salerno only five minutes' walk from the main shopping street (or High Street, as we Brits would say), and only another five minutes' walk on from there to the seafront. My double room was extremely cosy. The bathroom is very modern. The kitchenette has pans, crockery and cutlery alongside a hob, coffee machine and kettle; there is a very useful supermarket directly opposite the property for stocking up on supplies for it. The property provides free fast and reliable wifi. There is also a gratefully received air conditioning unit to combat the heat of a Salerno September's night. What was most impressive was the provision of an assortment of different breads, cakes, yoghurts, milk, jams and Nutella for a do it yourself breakfast. That was very much appreciated! Though I did not personally meet any of the staff (you check yourself in & out), the contact from the owner via the messaging facility on Booking.com was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had in a B&B. I will certainly look to book it again should I ever return to Salerno.

One issue that could be addressed: the shower bracket could do with fixing as it does not hold the shower head in place. It keeps twisting forward under the pressure of the water, which means you have to hold the shower head in your hand to shower properly.

It is very clean accommodation in a great location. Easy to get a bus to any place. The contact with the owner is exceptional. We got a lot of useful information and recommendations. No problem with anything and a slef checking is great when you are not sure of the hour of your arrival.

Not much to add here. Maybe, as a tea lover, a water cattle would be a nice thing to have in the room except boiling the water in the pot. But this is a minor thing

The apartment was in a great location, 5 min walk to the center of Salerno. It was in a very safe neighborhood and very easy to find. It was comfortable for the size and had everything we needed. They cleaned it every two days which was great. The communication with the host was very easy, they were very responsive and gave us suggestions for scooter rentals, tours , restaurants bars ext. It was equipped with pots and pans, coffee maker and breakfast which was more of a snack corner with packed croissants, muffins, Nutella, jams, crackers and fruit yogurts.

Perfect sized apartment with everything you need. The kitchen was stocked with utensils for those who want to cook, and it was kind of the host to leave water, juice and milk for guests. The whole apartment was styled nicely, the bed was big and comfortable, and bathroom was also very nice, and there's a decent sized closet for your belongings. I've been to Salerno many times and this was one of my favorite stays. It's located close to the center / old town and I'll definitely be back!

One minor issue that can easily be resolved was that the bathroom shower didn't drain very well. So I had to stop the water to let it drain before continuing, but besides this everything worked great!

Everything was perfect and clean. The host was very kind and always gave us the necessary information. The location is close to transportation. I highly recommend.

Very Central and good and breakfast goods supplied. Cafes and city centre very close.. Easy to catch a ferry to Amalfi Coast and also the access to a great walk "Path of God's" Good communication with the owners.

The location was great, close to all important places in Salerno. The apartment itself was really nice, with sufficient space. The owner was really accomodating to accept our special requests.

The location and hospitality of the host was perfect! The room was so comfortable and they left a lot of things to the room to eat and drink something.

Only wifi was low signal and lost connection on some areas of the room.

We liked everything! The host is very kind and helped us a lot. And answers for questions immediately. Location is the best, in the city center and everything is close. I really recommend
