Elegant, upscale, and un-pretentious decorations throughout the hotel. The dining room for breakfast and dinner is very beautiful. We only had the chance for breakfast which was excellent. The hotel room was very quiet despite next to a heavy traffic road. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. The hotel, unsurprisingly, also had spa and sauna facilities with the appropriate garment prepared. If you are arriving by car, the parking is spacious and free. If you are visiting the wine shops and stores around town, everything is within 5 minute walking distance (Chapoutier is within 1 block!).

The location and restaurant are great! The staff is excellent. The spa is on the smaller side, but well equipped. The room was extremely spacious.

The spa doesn’t have towels for your use. Guests are supposed to bring one from the room. The front desk did give me one so that I didn’t have to go all the way back to my room. The hallways and elevators are in need of updating. The hallways were also freezing cold, as if the doors were always open. I thought

Wifi: you always disconnected automatically and login again. This an old fashioned way to handle the internet access! The room is not that big. Just a minibar at the room. No ice! Need to ask to the kitchen. The restaurant menu is rather limited. Breakfast is good but could be improved with more fruits.

Great hotel run by the M. Chapoutier Vintner. Superb staff, extremely helpful and gracious. We ate breakfast in the dining room. They couldn't have been nicer or more accomodating. Everything was clean and comfortable. Parking was included in the back and very convenient.

Moving from Room to Room, looks like this is the culture in France, this is not good at all, you should not be doing that, it doesn't matter what host booked first or earlier, this is totally wrong, it's a totally misunderstanding about the business.

The hotel was conveniently located in the small town of Tain l'Hermitage, near the scenic Rhone River and walking distance from the Valrhona Cite du Chocolat. The hills above are covered in vines. A walking bridge connects Tain to Tournon-sur-Rhone on the opposite side of the river. The staff at reception were particularly helpful and welcoming, ensuring that we had a very happy stay.

The wardrobe space could have been bigger and more accessible but this allowed for a bigger bench and room and a couch, so not that important.

Wonderful restaurant. Nice staff, easy option to charge our car. Nice pool The staff speaks excellent English, very accessible to foreigners.

Cleanliness and upkeep could be improved. Many small defects. E.g. bathroom door had suffered water damage and stuck. Cobwebs and dust in the room.

The room size and parking area were large and spacious. They have electric car chargers if needed. They have a restaurant and bar.

The room was a bit dark and had a street view, but it was very quiet. Too many stairs to get to our room.

We stayed here for one night on our way up north, returning home from vacation. We had just hoped for a nice simple hotel room to rest for the night but were surprised how lovely this hotel was. The staff was friendly and helpful, the Spa area was just wonderful after a long drive and the room was cozy, warm and big enough for one night. Our car was safely parked in the backyard of the hotel with closed gates. We did not eat at their restaurant and the pool was obviously closed for winter but the outside area must be pretty nice in summer time. We would stay here again.

The room was great for a family - with 2 rooms. It was clean. We liked the Spa and booked a massage which was fantastic. We had dinner in the restaurant and breakfast, it was very good. Safe parking.
