This hotel is truly excellent. Clean and comfortable rooms, efficient and friendly staff, very close to the beach, pool, good food (breakfast included), reasonable prices. This is definitely the place if you are looking for something a step or several above the average surf hostels.

The one thing that would make it a 10+ out of 10 is access to shade by the pool. Trees give some late in the day but a shade sail or a few patio umbrellas would be a great addition to make the pool area more comfortable during the heat of the day. Stronger wifi in the rooms would be an added bonus.

The food was so delicious! The staff were amazing! The overall experience was great. This is one of the few places in the area that has the whole package of things you would want when looking for not only comfort but experience and fun!

There wasnt anything I disliked!

Everything. ! Tastefully decorated. Great WIFi. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Clearly had service in mind. Relaxed cozy trustful atmosphere. The dogs made it all feel like family ..and we were only there a night! ..super clean. Excellent food ..came out hot and in a timely fashion. Comfortable room and beds. Everything was just right. No rush the day we left would recommend ..close to wonderful beach for surfing. Pool just lovely.

Nothing! We met the owner who appeared a bit stressed ..he said as much though, and said he w as going on holiday. ..i just didn't want him to feel that way since we were so happy with what he provided!

The place looks great, amazing aesthetic. One of the most stylish I've seen in Nicaragua. The rooms are beautiful, and the bed is great as well. The host is friendly, and we really liked the dogs.

We read that the food was great, but we didn't like the food that much and it was very expensive as well.

Beautiful location—I didn’t know there was breakfast so we didn’t have any! Wonderful sleep. We didn’t even use the air conditioning, the airflow from the big screen door was enough.

This isn’t a complaint but the shower head in the washroom has a leak and it sprays and hits the ceiling. Our Spanish is terrible so we didn’t know how to tell anyone.

Delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner available at the hotel, super friendly and helpful staff, and beautiful outdoor area :)

Food was a little bit pricey but worth it!

The staff at El Pez were excellent! Super-friendly and accommodating. We were well looked after. Any trip or arrangement or ride that needed to be arranged and they were on top of it.The food was excellent and the place was very clean! Can't wait to go back!
