Restaurant stretched from several indoor areas an outside covered areas along a natural stream which had fish and a curious beaver who was people watching on its evening swim. Food was good with lots of choice, being a weekend it was buffet and bar b que with the bonus of an evening singer Two swimming pools with a great outdoor area plus outdoors seating for drinks.. The Bedroom was large and modern and the mattress was heavenly -overall this hotel exceeded all expectations. Staff very friendly and helpful We will be back next year.

Nothing it was all great..The evening service was well run with a few senior staff overseeing and quite a few trainees-but we all have to start somewhere.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Novotel Sud Valence and it exceeded all my expectations. Located in a charming part of Valence, the hotel is both accessible and surrounded by a lovely, peaceful environment. The rooms were exceptionally nice—spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with all the comforts you’d expect for a relaxing stay. What stood out to me the most was the friendliness of the staff. They went out of their way to make guests feel welcome and were more than happy to converse in English, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The bar at the hotel has a wonderful lounge vibe, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The ambiance is cozy yet sophisticated, and the handmade cocktails are a highlight—expertly crafted and delicious. I also had the opportunity to dine at the hotel’s restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed. The food was excellent, with a variety of well-prepared dishes that showcased local flavors.

This was an overnight stop on our journey south. The location is very convenient to get off/on the highway. Check-in/out was fast and easy. The staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner options at the in-house restaurant was good at reasonable prices. I was satisfied with the cleanliness of the room when I arrived. Bed and room temperature were comfortable. Free parking is available in a secured area.

The drawback of being close to the highway is noise filtering in. It was not a problem for me, but maybe for light-sleepers.

Location, accommodation good and very important a restaurant, for us 50 percent the reason for staying.

This time The restaurant was not so good many dishes on the menue not available. The quality of the meal below expectation, example the beef fillet with legumes poêles , the legumes were 60 percent carrots rest some other root vegetable very bland only cooked and never pan fried , very disappointing.

We were surprised and uncomfortable that dogs are allowed inside the restaurant. We ate breakfast inside, where the tables were close together and a couple came in and sat their dog right next to us. They could see we didn’t like it but did not move the dog away - we didn’t finish our breakfast. (We couldn’t eat outside for the reason below.) Not all people want to eat near a dog but we didn’t have a choice. The terrace is absolutely beautiful but, unfortunately, I am susceptible to insect bites and had large bites within minutes. I would love to have spent more time there but it is not the best place for me!

beautifully redesigned. the family room had ample space. the restaurant, pool and lounge were excellent. the best part was the outside space with a creek and waterfall. very relaxing and very unexpected given the modest appearance of the front of the building. the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

booking.com says this property has cribs available and we requested one, however, our room was set up with 2 children’s beds. I think this may just be a language barrier. thankfully we had our own baby travel cot in the car and staff removed the children’s beds for us.

The excellent room,comfortable bed, excellent shower, good dinner, wonderful breakfast, speedy checkin and checkout, close to motorway with good signage, good service at dinner and breakfast, secure car parking

I was in room 112 and I had to up with thump thump music from the moment I arrived at 15.00 until close to midnight Not too loud to be really disturbing but bad enough. Avoid any room close to the bar and restaurant Ex

One of the nicest Novotels ! Good spacious room.. separate wc is a plus. Very nice dining room and restuarant. Excellent breakfast. Nice big tv screen but no option for netflix etc ... overall very good. Secure parking.

Nice bug TV but very little in English, suggest we can log in to our own netflix account or stream from device? Great sports coverage however.

The receptionist was fantastic! Travelling as a family he arranged a room for us immediately even though we arrived slightly early. He was extremely helpful and made our stay a very pleasant one. The pool area was fantastic and the kids had a great time. Its not often that you find a good hotel with pool etc. when you on a road trip and need an overnight stay.

Our experience at the on-site restaurant was not great. The manager of the restaurant was unfriendly and in my opinion, rude, after we had asked to be moved into the restaurant as we were being bitten by the mosquitos out on the terrace. They refused to find us another table and we had to sit in the bar area and eat our dinner. The rest of the staff were great. My meal was not good and I had to return it, to which there was no follow up or apology from the manager.

Ideally located close to motorway. Very friendly helpful staff. Good restaurant with a lovely seating area outside overlooking a stream. Bedrooms clean and comfortable. We only stayed one night so didn’t get a chance to use the pool but it looked very inviting. Will definitely stay again.
