The hotel is 5 mins walking distance from the airport, which was a bonus. Stayed 3 nights when we first arrived as we love the beach, which is a lovely stroll away. The surrounding area has plenty of coffee and eating places. This place has the most comfortable beds in phuket. The lady on reception, I think she is known as katrina, is most helpful and works really hard. The site also has its own restaurant opposite, which does some lovely dishes.Rooms have a balcony, so you can sit and watch the planes coming in and leaving.

Would be nice to have tea, coffee, sugar, etc, in the room. There is a kettle and cup's but that's all.

Arrival was no problem as we were late. Reception very welcoming showed us to our room and introduced us to everything. Offered to make us some food as restaurant was closed. Good shower and bathroom facilities, clean and serviceable. Room was very large with good storage. Location is a bit industrial and near to road, but what can you expect as so close to airport. We walked from airport arrivals to hotel but I would not recommend this as roads are very busy.

Thought the breakfast was included in the price. Nice breakfast obtained in restaurant, had to pay but great value and quality.

Staff is super friendly and helpful, space is cozy and very close to the airport, and you can easily get food from an app or a 7/11 nearby. There is a restaurant partner of the hotel, very simple and calm, super tasty food. Room is spacious, bed is comfortable, shower is very good. We had one night there only and it was super satisfactory.

Just a heads up, paying with credit card has an extra fee of 4% (August.24), and this is common all over Phuket. So be ready to get some Bahts in your pocket (lots of exchange places around), because not every place takes international credit cards, and those where you can may have the extra fee.

We had to book a emergency room after we were kicked off a flight leaving from Phuket because my daughter threw up. The staff were quick to pick us up and also drove my daughter and I to the doctor to get her some medicine. I cannot express my gratitude for the ladies at David’s. If not for them I’m not sure our flight out 4 hours later would have happened. I will be eternally grateful to you both. The rooms were clean, large and you can watch planes take off right outside your window. We didn’t use any of the facilities as we were there only for 4 hours.

This hotel was literally opposite but separated from the domestic terminal by a car park and a busy road. It's slightly further from the international terminal but a complimentary shuttle service is provided. We had a rented car and a complimentary parking space was available. Our flight arrived about breakfast time and we only needed the room for several hours to freshen up and have a relaxing break before driving to our destination. Though we had booked the overnight rate, it was cheaper than other hotels advertising day rates. The room was quite large, very clean and comfortable with excellent soundproofing and blackout curtains.

Minor repairs to room needed

You can not beat the convenience of the complimentary airport shuttle at David's Residence! Shuttle service and staff 10! Room and bed quality is more like a 7. The hotel is directly across from the airport, the staff was great with picking us up and dropping us off in the hotel car, their communication and directions were very easy to follow. We used the hotel bicycles to go down to the beach, buy some ganja, get breakfast, and have a nice dinner. They are not comfortable bikes, but we really appreciated them regardless because we were too tired to walk but so close it felt silly to take a cab. This is not someplace I would choose to stay while vacationing in Phuket, but it is a great choice for one night before/after a flight at Phuket. After staying here at the beginning of our trip, I have canceled a different hotel to rebook at David's Residence for our return flight. The room was very spacious for our 6 pieces of luggage. I appreciated the smart TV, I was able to log in to my USA Netflix account easily and enjoy. The air conditioner worked. The floors were very clean. Bedding is basic. The vending machine in the lobby was also appreciated.

Our bed had a loud wooden creaking noise whenever one of us moved it went crazy. We had room 201 which was a corner end room, so there were 2 balconies and quite a lot of road noise and of course the airport noise. Despite this, we were so tired we slept fine and we will still stay again.

The close proximity to the airport was great - after a very long day of travel, the comfy beds were welcomed. Complimentary bottled water is provided in rooms. The restaurant opens for breakfast at 8am and it was delicious. The female staff member who seems to run the whole place is so kind and helpful. Free shuttle to and from airport is quick and convenient. Air con was nice and cold in the room.

The rooms are bit older than what the photos portray but if you just need a bed and a bathroom it’s great. The tv wasn’t working and there is no tea or coffee provided. We didn’t mind about that.

Great location, clean modern spacious room, friendly and accommodating staff, great value for money. This is more like a condotel than a hotel or resort, so there’s no restaurant or room service on site. However, there’s a snack machine in the lobby and a 7-11 convenience store a few minutes walk away. This was not a drawback for me but I thought I’d point it out in case anyone is expecting that kind of thing.

We had a late flight into Phuket so location was perfect for a one night near both airports. We were tired after a very long day travelling so the Hotel picking us up from the airport was great . The room was huge and we had a great view watching planes land and take - off.

We had a kettle and cups in the room but no tea or coffee was in the room . No soap in the hand basin but might have been an oversight .

My friend and I booked a stay for one night as we had to catch a flight early next morning, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to rent a motorcycle when we arrived to navigate through town on our last day in Phuket and they also arranged for a taxi to drop us off at the airport in-time for our flight. We didn't use a lot of facilities as we only stayed one night but I would definitely recommend David Residence if you have a flight to catch the day after!
