The location was really great because it was close to the subway (straight forward to use as only one line and cheap) and the fast train to Seoul. Thete were plenty of nice coffee shops and restaurants close by for dinner. The breakfast was limited, but fine and great value to he included in the room charge. The service from the front staff was marvellous, friendly and helpful - Baek, Joo and Jo Young Jnr. The rooms were very modern and great bathroom. Everything great.

We needed to request that the air conditioning be put on, but a very minor suggestion and the front desk put it straight on.

Situated right opposite Songjeong station(KTX) and right beside 1913 market. Very convenient. Front desk staff was very kind to allow early check in with extra pay by charging 10 000W/hr. The room was huge. TV has korea Netflix, other channels need to pay. They provide Kerasys hair damaged hair shampoo and conditioner, which I consider as very rare and I loved it. They even provide facial mask, big bottle of skin toner and emulsion although they were Vietnamese brand. Last but not least, the free self service laundry!

I really wanted to give 10/10 but 1. The bathroom has no door. The shower room with toilet were separated with bathtub with a glass door but bath tub was exposed to aircond, which you’d get cold while soaking in bathtub. And the bathroom lights would auto turn off after some time. Could be for green purpose but imagine if you were in bathtub, you actually needs to get up and turn it back on. It’s silly. 2. The AIRCOND NEEDS ACTIVATION FROM FRONT DESK every time you insert your room key! I mean literally calling front desk and ask them to activate the aircond for you because the aircond remote control(which was also the tv control) doesnt work! Energy saving? How ridiculous! 3. The free breakfast was a little boring and lack western choices.

Great short term stay. Very nice Asian breakfast. Free laundry on the 10th floor extremely convenient. Friendly staff. We came from Jeonju and chose the incorrect train station (Gwangju station). The hotel is next to the Gwangju Songjeong station, don’t make the same error as us.

The family room was a tad crowded.

Nov 5-8 2022 Couple The room was big, clean and comfortable. There is a jacuzzi long bath. The hotel is about 100M away from Gwangju High Speed station. U cannot see the hotel from the station so it is best u ask for direction. There is a tourist info centre at the train station. The hotel signage on the top of building is in Korean with a stylistic M in blue neon. Around the corner from the hotel is a street food area where u can find local food and cafes. If not, just walk to the station for Isaac Toast or Starbucks Next to the train station is the city subway and if u walk to the main road from the htoel there is a bus top where u can take bus number 2 (if I remembered correctly) to U Sqaure Bus Terminal to get on bus to Damyang Bamboo Forest or Baekyangsa Temple at Naejangsan. (Pls note to Damyang u take bus from same bus stop u alight. Think bus 313?? Pls ask. To Baekyangsa Temple u need to go into the U Sqaure Bus Terminal to buy a ticket and then proceed to the bus bay to board the bus) Bus 2 can also bring u to the foot of Mudeungsan to begin yr hikes. To the other areas in Gwangju u can take the subway.

Nothing really

The room was spacious. It was close to the train station, both national rail (KTX) and the normal underground station. The shower was nice and easy to use, with a few skin products and moisturisers already included in the room.

There was no ironing board or iron, but it had well enough space or storage for one. Additionally, I had a light that didn't function properly in my room it would only partly turn on.

Everything in the room was super clean. The room was really spacious, and the bed a bath tub were both huge. That made the stay super relaxing. The TV has access to Netflix and YouTube, so that was a nice addition. All toiletries you could need were provided as well as a few complimentary refreshments.

The hotel wasn't necessarily close to any major attractions, but it was just a 2 minute walk from the subway line so getting around the city was still convenient enough. There are restaurants and some shopping around the hotel as well. My only other downside was that the bedding was a little hard, but it didn't detract from the overall experience.

The room was huge and there was a bath and a shower in the room. This is clearly something we loved about the room. The bed was also very comfortable.

It is indeed next to a train station. Now careful because there are 2 train stations in Gwangju and we didn't know that before arriving. Also, we couldn't find a nice restaurant around in our opinion. Breakfast is included, which is great, but it is a very small and busy room in the morning, so not the best experience in my opinion.

The room was quiet, clean and spacious. There are a variety of dining options nearby and the area was well-lit so it felt safe heading out for dinner even when it got dark. There is the KTX and metro station within walking distance and the Airport is also a few stops away by bus/metro.

The location is quite far off from the city, although its accessible by a 25/30min train ride.

Very nice looking, clean and spacious rooms. The hotel lies directly at the Gwangju Songjeong station, where the SRT trains stop (about 3-5 min walk) and there are several convenience stores nearby. Note that the location is not correctly displayed on either Google Maps or Naver, the hotel is actually on the other corner, just beneath the Aura hotel. You can check it with Streetview beforehand. The bus terminal is in reachable distance by local busses. The shower and jacuzzi were very nice, the staff very friendly and helpful, the rooms well equipped. Minor detail: the mattress was very (!) hard.

I was fully satisfied with this hotel, it was my favorite among the eight hotels on our trip through Korea
