Room is clean and large. Ideal location for airport.

I got double charged. Once by booking.com and then unwittingly by the hotel when doing the automated check in (which is the only way to check in). Six weeks later still no refund, but I'm sure it will get resolved eventually (booking.com been helpful albeit they need paperwork from you, no response from the hotel). I'd read others say the same so there is definitely an issue with this hotel. But I had few other options on this occasion.

We chose Best Deal Airporthotel Weeze because we needed to arrive at the airport at 5am. The No.73 airport bus picked us up at 4.55am for a 2 min journey. Alternatively it was a 15min walk, which would be fine in daylight hours as it's a very quiet road but no pavements. Both No.73 and SW1 buses shuttle from airport to Weeze train station and back - 2.10 euro each way - cash only. We used Rheinbahn app for public transport to/from/in Dusseldorf and Weeze. Auto check-in was easy - go to block 17. I just typed in my surname and the key card popped out of the machine. Other guests got their key card by using their credit card. There are 3 accommodation blocks - 17, 19, 20 (room 19103 is block 19/ground floor/room103). As it's part of old RAF base, the rooms are basic. But comfortable, warm and clean. At 50 euro a night for a twin room you can't complain. I would happily stay here in future.

Good to know. Luckily I had read previous comments so we were prepared. We took our own takeaway food /picnic with us to eat in the room. There are no restaurant or bar facilities on site. There was mention of vending machines but we didn't look for them. Weeze town (10 mins by car/bus) had places to eat.

They are missing out not having a coffee vending machine, and snacks there should be facilities like this. There is a Bulgarian bar beers are reasonable and do offer fries if they can be bothered, depends on the time, other than that if youre hungry and thirsty its a no no And watch out for the dodgy dancing quite an eye opening in a funny way

For me, it was.ideal as I was based there in the 90s so knew the area hence stopping we where visiting the local area. If you go in weeze there are enough food stops I recomend the coffee shop opposite the church, don't buy a single coffee ask for a jug works out 2 euro cheaper and that was.the staff telling us when we ordered more coffee. And with coffee have the cake

For this price it was all very good, the bed was very comfortable and it was very clean. Definitely recommend.

No staff there, and at first it was unclear where I had to go to get my room key, but I ran into another hotel guest who helped me out. I didn't know where to put my room key when I checked out, that wasn't clear either, so I put it in the wrong box.

Generally good for the price paid. Warm water, clean and heating is good. A kettle water would be a nice add-on.

I would say ok for the drivers but be careful if you are on foot. I landed after 11pm and had to walk there because after that time the Bus line 73 only operates as a minivan which can only take about 8 people. It took me 15 mins. It was dark, rainy, and I had to walk on the main road as there was no foot walk. Not safe and not recommended.

Good location near the airport, with travel links between the property, airport and Bahnhof, comfortable and clean rooms

A lot of noise from other guests arriving and walking around corridors and slamming doors late at night, could do with some form of noise mitigation, no vending machines available

Easy check in, Rooms were warm, spacious, beds were comfy and the shower is great. Airport is a 10/15 minute walk away but the Bus to airport runs past the hotel for early morning flights and it was perfectly on time. It's cheap and cheerful accommodation! Just make sure you bring snacks!

The vending machines were all completely empty and there are no cafes or restaurants nearby and the ones that are on a saturday afternoon (even the airport ones).

Not the hotels fault, but our group struggled to get taxis from Kevelaer station to the hotel after arriving at 9.30pm. So if you plan to arrive by train late in the evening it's worth keeping this in mind

Great location if Weeze is your layover for a night. The airport is within walking distance if you have a bag and a small carry-on. If you have a suitcase, the bus stop is right outside the hotel and only two minutes away from the airport. Very warm and immaculately clean. Also, great self-check in system.

No hairdryer and the curtain fell off while I was pulling it aside.

catching an early flight -- no personnel, but easy self-check in, comfortable beds, quiet location. don't expect luxury, but it's comfortable and clean

nothing really -- better than expected based on some of the reviews on booking
