Breakfast was outstanding. Dinner and wine beautifully done. Attention at the front desk was excellent with smart suggestions for things to do and see. Good dinner recommendations and restaurant arrangements. Dining/breakfast staff VERY helpful, polite and attentive

The popular music for a historic hotel in a historic city was a annoying and a real disappointment. Our original room was big and well appointed but had a view of a light shaft which was depressing.Ask for a garden view or a town square view.

Centrally located on the town square (farmer's market 2X/week) it is proximate to all you want to see/experience in Weimar. Lots of restaurants nearby, walking distance to Goethe's town and country house (not to be missed). Parking in the rear is most convenient.

The recent renovations done in a modernish style took away from the charm of the place.

This historic hotel is right on the main square but is easily accessible (good parking directions) and has a lovely patio/garden for dining outside in good weather. The staff is friendly and professional. Excellent breakfast. We had one dinner and it was first class but casual and very relaxing. We also enjoyed the hotel in 1984...just enough has changed!

The location is absolutely the best! The room was beautiful and was very clean. The bathroom was large and modern. The water was hot, and the shower head was excellent.

Location is perfect. The private parking at the back lies at the end of main entry road for cars. The main entry at the front lies on the market square, the main node of the historic town. The amenities on the ground floor are stylish and luxurious: a vast reading salon, an exclusive bar, an excellent restaurant giving out to a beautiful courtyard. One could hardly ask for more...!

In the end, there is only one elevator for a considerable number of rooms on for successive floors. Needless to say it causes delays. Good to have a nice environment to stimulate your patience while queing

A splendid place to stay in the center of Weimar. Excellent staff and accommodations. Breakfasts in the garden were particularly memorable.

Poor quality of restaurant (in Michelin guide one of 3 best in Weimar). But first nearest good restaurant from Weimar is in Erfurt. Horrible system of spa. Two small saunas and 6 people in. You need reservation, so then I dont understand, why there is like in main train station. Unfriendly receptionist.

Super beautiful lounge area. The room was really comfortable. The bed, the beddings and the pillows were really the best. Also the bathroom shower and the bathrobes were really comfy.

The air conditioning system was hard to set. Even following the given instructions, the room temp was always around 17 degrees... Really cold even in summer. The TV sharing setup with TV.marriott.com did not work properly and even once we told the staff they were not able to fix it in the 5 days we stayed at the hotel.

Great location, friendly staff, lovely rooms. Beautiful building. Good breakfast. Very attractive lobby and a nice courtyard where you can have breakfast or just have a coffee in the afternoon. Parking right behind the hotel with level access to the lobby.

Hard to fault. Perhaps slightly understaffed at breakfast and breakfast also on the expensive side.
