We really like the view from our patio

It looked a little to old, we some ants in the room around sink on the table and walls maybe it was more I don’t know but this was really unpleasant next time I wouldn’t stay there. Made me feel uncomfortable what if in the bed too, hopefully it was not but still it made my decision not to stay there next time, we could do a charcoal barbecue on our patio and you can’t seat on the patio drink glass of your wine and smoke a cigarette outside. We had a birthday paid $328 for one night and had limitations where we can’t do this and you can’t do that just seat in the room and if you want to smoke you have to go every time somewhere on the street cause you can’t smoke in the property, what to pay those money if you can’t fully enjoy your stay.

The view from our newly renovated room was spectacular! The breakfast was a surprise- a full breakfast including wonderful muffins that were both fresh and locally made. Nate and Polly were great hosts- friendly,talkative and informative. If you want some delicious chowder, follow Nate’s recommendation and go to Fishing Rock restaurant. We greatly enjoyed our stay, and hope to return someday.

The pillows were hard. If you like firm pillows (my wife), this is not an issue. I prefer them softer. The room was a little noisy, but within acceptable limits.

The views from our room (#18) were excellent looking south along the rocky shore toward Depoe Bay. The room had a balcony and I highly recommend getting a balcony room. The view is much better than the first floor rooms. The electric fire place was better than usual and put out nice heat as well as a pretty respectable "fake fire". Breakfast was fairly straight forward and tasty, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, a good assortment of upscale muffins, excellent berries, plus the usual assortment of yogurts and juices. The evening we arrived they had a nice reception, wine (from Depoe Bay Winery) and beer (from Rogue Brewery) plus generous assortment of finger food. At this time of year (February) they only do one per month but I believe they are planning to increase that later in the spring. The managers were very friendly, they were interesting to talk with during the wine and snack reception and had good dinner recommendations. The Inn is a short (5 minute) walk to Tidal Raves, an outstanding restaurant, don't miss it when you come to Depoe Bay. Also don't miss the Depoe Bay Winery tasting room in Depoe Bay. It's about a 15 minute walk from the Inn.

Not much to say here...The room could have used some better lighting. There were several table lamps around the bed and by the sofa, but the corner where they had a table and chairs was dark. Not really a problem, we just moved the table closer to the sofa and window side of the room in the evening so we could play cards. Also minor, but when the place is fully occupied, they could use one more parking place.

A little old fashioned but amazing views and a great continental breakfast with more than enough food choices. Located near a wonderful restaurant and if you are a strong walker close to the seawall. Some rooms have balconies, wish mine had one. Easy driving distance to Yaquina Head, Devils Punchbowl and the Otter Rock Loop.

I was surprised there was no hair dryer as most places have them now and the ironing board was not only extremely low, but the legs were broken and it did not stay up. Also someone had messed with the sound on the TV. Luckily I came for the view and the sound of the ocean.

Where to start?! Everything thing about our stay was wonderful! The room was cosy (the bed was like sleeping on a cloud), clean, and spacious, and the staff was wonderful. While checking in, we were able to view a whale spouting off in the distance. The cliffs and beaches nearby are amazing. Just a short walk up the hill/street behind the hotel takes you to a trail that leads to view over Pirate Cove. When I went down to the private beach in the morning, there were seals perched on a nearby rock (camera didn't do them justice). So many cool things to see.

The location was wonderful. Beautiful view of the ocean, nice private beach, picnic tables, very comfortable bed and the room was nice and clean. In addition, they serve a great breakfast. I had biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, orange juice and coffee. My wife had eggs, muffin and a variety of fresh fruit with v8. Generous portions of each. Very pleasant stay!

Staff was the friendliest hotel staff I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. I genuinely felt like my business was appreciated and valued. I stayed here for my partner and I’s anniversary and they made it a point to make up feel special and celebrated for that.

I wish they had a small wardrobe or set of drawers to unpack clothes in. They may have them in other rooms but the one we stayed in didn’t have anything like that really.

We were delighted with the location and views from our room and the grounds. We walked down to the final set of stairs which were, unfortunately, too steep and slippery wet and were disappointed to find we could comfortably/safely negotiate them for a real walk on the beach, but had many phgoto opportunities. Grounds were beautifully green and the room was fine with a great bed for a good night's sleep. We walked downtown and got to see the whale watching building. Had two great meals ....one of fish tacos and upscale fine dining at Tidal Raves!!

We appreciated being able to have free breakfast before heading out for the day. We did get bored with the selection after day 3. I was blown away by our whale watching experience right outside of our back door! Thank you for providing binoculars. Staff was very knowledgeable and down to earth.

The entry door to our room took some effort to ensure it was closed and secure. The only thing I would have appreciated, is access to an ice machine and beverage vending machine.

The views are amazing. So much appreciate the manager being so quick to resolve a minor issue with the TV. TV wasn't working so he quickly transferred us to another room which we were very happy with. Very cozy. The complimentary breakfast was great. Was cozy sitting in the dining area watching the waves while having our breakfast & coffee. Binoculars included.
