So, we actually cancelled our reservation because it was not what we expected or what we were looking for. That being said, I am so happy to confirm that the host was very nice and very thoughtful. She showed us around and when we figured out that this would not work for our needs, she was not angry with us for wanting to cancel. We had to cancel through Booking.com, but the property owner was very generous and understanding and gave us a full refund even though there was supposed to be a charge. We are very grateful.

Adriana runs a tight ship, which makes for a very organized and welcoming hostel. When you get to know her a little, she has a heart of gold and loves to help people. She had some of the highest cleaning standards I have seen in a hostel, so that even comforters get washed with every third visitor. Sheets and everything else are spotless and she trains all her volunteers very well for taking care of the place. The common room is welcoming and very comfortable. I would definitely return and stay again.
The hostel is several miles outside of the town, and there's no bus, so you have to either call for a ride which is not cheap, get a ride sometimes with someone staying in the cabins that has a car, or hitchhike, which I did several times. If it's raining, waiting for a ride can be uncomfortable.

The cabin was adorable! Nestled in pine trees with a cute fire pit all its own, or the community one is right there too! We didn’t plan to do much in Seward when we planned our itinerary so we were only there for one night. We all wish we would have stayed there longer and explored more of the surrounding area! Definitely would go back there again. We loved it!! The staff were amazing, the location perfectly placed and adorable. The breakfast yummy! I would book this unique property quickly if you’re thinking about it…. You will be sooooooo happy you did!!!
NOTHING….. it was perfect!!!

Boy did we love this place! We added a night in Seward and we’re able to book the sourdough lodge here. Great communication ahead of time and discount codes for the Kenai fjords tours. But the place was awesome. A collection of quaint cottages for privacy w shared bathrooms - flush plumbing etc and plenty of them and wonderful shared kitchen facilities (2 indoor and 1 outdoor), a fire pit, an outdoor shower that is a legit normal shower as well as an indoor one. Make fresh waffles and pancakes for breakfast. Fresh coffee provided. Super staff. I mean super! Such a funky fun place. Want to come back just to stay here longer with Adrienne, Nu, and the crew. Thank you!

Well located if you're planning to go to the Exit glacier trailhead. Very clean kitchen and bathroom. Breakfast was excellent - make-your-own pancakes and waffles. Very well organized. I stayed in the main inn. It was well heated.
Only 1 bathroom and shower inside the main inn. Like all American hostels it is relatively pricey.

The breakfast was so cool it was make your own waffles and it was just so great. Also, the staff was amazing. The little cabins are so cute and adorable. You can pretty much use the whole kitchen, which was so nice and the other guest in the staff or just absolutely outstanding super friendly super amazing. Very clean very comfortable very accommodating. I had such an amazing time. It was definitely worth it, and it made my experience to Alaska so much better than what I expected.
The walls between the loon room and the otter room …you could hear the others person’s TV and music. I would say that would be the only bad thing other than that there was nothing that I can complain about. Everything was so amazing.

Staff were friendly and very accommodating. The yurt village is very cute and has everything you could need. Especially appreciated clean showers and bathrooms and well stocked kitchen/eating area.
The biggest concern for us was location. Its about 7 miles outside of Seward. If you have your own car, this is fine, but we did not so needed to get a cab to go into town for dinner, etc. The cab ride is about $35 each way, so we would probably stay in town next time if we did not have a car.

Place was great. Shower was clean, bed was comfy, ingredients/instructions for making breakfast were great.
Location was fine for me since I had a car but travelling here without a car would be more difficult as it’s a few miles out of town along the main highway.

I was very happy, this accommodation was way better than expected. Very cozy, original, very clean everywhere, great helpful people. You are not in the center of Seward (8 minutes drive) but if you have a car like me, then you will be satisfied. I would definitely go again. really good experience, happy to stayed with them.
