Hoopoes in the forest!

Really nice small Spanish hotel which was what I was looking for, took me a while to find this hotel as there seems to be alot of all inclusive in Majorca. The bus stop is across the road from the hotel literally 2 seconds walk which takes you round the island, about 40 mins to alcudia. You can walk down to Can Picafort main centre in about 20 mins or the less quieter sea front area in about 10 from the hotel. The rooms are big we booked a twin which had a kitchen and separate seating area!

Hotel is in need of abit of tlc just small things like the exterior needs painting and the pool is starting to look abit untidy. Which is just wear and tear over the years!

The hotel exceeded all our expectations. Even though it’s quite dated it’s very well maintained and the facilities don’t feel old at all. It’s spotless clean and very comfortable. Our apartment was spacious and the kitchen was super useful - we found all the basic things we needed. Daily cleaning is a huge plus. The forest view is very calming. The apartment was very quiet, AC worked properly, bed was on the softer side but surprisingly comfortable too and we slept very well for the whole week. We loved the breakfast with a huge selection of fresh fruit, nuts, sweets and salty stuff. All the staff was lovely. We also loved a chest with things you might need in the common space where we borrowed two beach umbrellas for the whole stay. It’s where you can leave some of your stuff you can’t take back home too. It’s fairly easy to park a car near the hotel. We never had to walk more than 100metres. Very well located, only a short drive from some amazing quiet beaches. Highly recommend, will definitely come back!

Great hotel with superb service from the kind people at the front desk, the always smiling cleaning staff, the warm friendliness of the kitchen staff and the friendly bartender. We had 2 nights in the Studio and 5 nights in the forest-facing duplex apartment. The Studio was fine, but facing the side we found the road noice from the balcony too loud (we chose this hotel specifically for the quiet of the forest balcony but they did not have this type of room available the first two nights). The Duplex apartment is flawless: great bed, large bathroom and an adequate kitchenette facing the cozy living room and balcony. A table in front of the sofa would have been nice ;-) The breakfast was more than adequate and open to 10.30am was nice. The walk to town and the main beaches was 20 easy minutes and the closest smaller beach is 10 minutes away. They had a rental car from Hertz ready the next day after check-in, and the process to get and deliver the car was easy.

Third stay there over two summers and again, we loved it there. The apartment (a studio) was clean and as cozy as the forest view apartments. The kitchenette is exactly of the same size as in the forest view apartments - although the whole space is smaller it’s still very spacious and convenient for two. The staff is amazing, most of them acting as in a five star hotel. Great breakfast. Quiet surroundings with easy parking.

The slamming entrance doors are a killer at night - it’s quite an easy job to make them more quiet yet it’s still not done… The walls are quite thin so if you have drunk neighbours you might be having tough nights there.

The hotel was quiet and staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good although the pastries weren't fresh following the weekend ( guessing no baking over a weekend). Pool was pleasant and in general not overcrowded

If the pool was busy then it could get crowded. Limited room to move around the buffet and if raining quite crowded in restaurant. Busy road only a few metres from pool on other side of hedge

Excellent hotel with friendly staff. Single studio room was huge. Great dinner and breakfast buffet, far enough from all the bars and restaurants that it was quiet at night. Had an early flight and staff prepared a mini breakfast buffet for me in the bar area which I appreciated so much! They have a jacuzzi and sauna downstairs free of charge (you need to book a time slot at reception) It was a lovely place and I would absolutely stay again!

Great breakfast, very kind staff in bar and kitchen, very nice atmosphere. we had a two bedroom apartment and that was very spacious with comfortable beds and bath rooms

we didn’t have great weather (half of may), therefore swimming pool was way too cold to swim in (it isn’t heated) and the apartment was quite chilly. Of course when you have good sunny weather this isn’t a problem! kitchen was poorly equipped. Not even a bottle of tap water on arrival (had to pay 3 euro for proper water for our baby’s bottle in the bar) nor was there proper casserole etc to make a meal. If you are planning on cooking yourself, you should make note of this.

The gym is a joke. Cardio machines might be ok, but weights are just unusable. Worst I’ve seen in my life.

We were positively surprised by the size of the appartement and its 2 toilets, as well as the overall comfort. Highly enjoyed the forest view and the silence--a bit away from the massive hotels along the shore, yet still walking distance to a beautiful beach and restaurants, one can really feel on holiday here. Massive breakfast buffet for all tastes. Very kid friendly, highly recommend.

The poolside had a slight smelliness, and the ground there is very slippery (watch out!). The hotel is clearly a bit older and could do with some renovation. Wifi was basically absent in our room, and the technician could not/did not fix it, so don't rely on that. Staff was very kind but seemed a bit weary and tired, could probably do with a salary raise. While breakfast was great, the lunch/dinner was very disappointing, so I'd not go for full board but eat out instead.
