The space is big enough for a group of 5, and it’s very clean. I like how the closets are placed, right in front of the entrance door so you can hung your jackets and arrange your shoes upon entry. I like the complimentary coffee and tea available in the room. The breakfast buffet spread is fabulous! It Offers exactly what you just need to start your day. I really appreciate the outdoor free parking. Few properties offer the same. Staff were all friendly and accommodating. They extended help when my car won’t start.

If you are not the tech-savvy kind, the self-check in may be a bit overwhelming.

The hotel was great. They have friendly staff, the room was perfectly clean, and the bathroom was perfect. The beds were very comfortable and we were really able to rest and have some good quality sleep. They offer a nice breakfast with locally produced food. The location is also very nice. You can go to Salzburg by car (about 15 - 20min) or public transport. If you want to go for a walk, it has beautiful surroundings. Just around the corner is a bridge that separates Austria and Germany. We went across the bridge to a restaurant and to get some ice cream... Two beautiful places to see. It is definitely a good hotel, we would recommend and visit again.

Fresh, well done hotel with a great looking rooms. Loved the interior. Although our room was ground floor with a street view, still felt private and isolating. Easy check-in. Friendly staff. Great breakfast.

Private parking isn't right next to the hotel. It was pretty hot in the room, climate controller didn't work so we had only fan.

Staff were very helpful. We arrived early and housekeeping very kindly put our luggage in our room while we went to explore Salzburg. Although there are no tea/coffee in the rooms, they gave us a kettle to make up baby formula. There is a vending machine in reception. Breakfast was lovely (continental) but a great choice. We were in a room at the front of the Hotel and the Church bells opposite were lovely to hear. The beds, duvets and pillows were very comfortable.

There was nothing to dislike

The room was very cosy, exactly like the photoes. We felt good here. We arrived about 12AM, and we had to do the check in ourself. Unfortunately we got an error on the machine and we needed to call someone for help. Even if the man on the phone didn't speak so well english, he tryed to help us. He was very nice and helpful. After the call, we could enter our room. The lady at the frot desk was also very nice. The breakfast had not a big variety of products, but it was good.

Great hotel, close to everything in Oberndorf. The bed was very comfortable, which was appreciated after a day of walking. Close to the train station (under 5 min walk). The staff are some of the nicest you will find and the breakfast was very good. We will certainly recommend Stadthotel!

It was a bit cold in the room and the bathroom could use a good vent for showering. Not super close to restaurants.

Very spacious cozy room with large TV and bathroom with Rituals products. Plenty of space for whole family. We are very satisfy also with self check-in since we are arriving late so we do not need to hurry up. You can choose different languages (English's too), and everything go smoothly. If you do not want breakfast in hotel, there are bakery around corner and caffe bistro with breakfast near by.

We could not find any cartoon program for our youngest child to watch before sleep.

Clean, updated, modern, and thoughtful. Check in and check out is done through an automated system in the lobby and I loved the process. Easy too!

The only thing that I would change is extending the breakfast hours till 9:30am or 10am. Breakfast finished at 9am everyday, and my children and I missed it every day except for check out day. By the time we were ready for breakfast daily, it would be mins till closing so we didn’t bother—which kind of sucked, because it was included. Location wasn’t horrible, but also wasn’t great/bored easily.

One of the most modern facilities around the Salzburg area, good breakfast, good location to travel around, easy to park

The check-in kiosk was a bit confusing at first. The price is high for the value, but it's summer, and the traffic near Salzburg is even worse.

Not able to leave luggage before the 15.00 check-in time. Staff wasn't willing or able to change that. Very disappointing
