Very clean and well-updated room! Best bang for your buck in Cobar... No wonder this place has no vacancy, and car park is full of visitors, mostly family with their big "ute". Very thoughtful for the visitors well being, tim tam in the fridge, offered fresh milk upon check in, fully stocked ammenities (including insect repellant for outside motel, but without any insect being seen in the motel area!). I could see families enjoying the pool onsite, and it looks very clean too.

Due to popularity, car park quickly get filled by families with big car / utes. luckily there's side parking available, next to the accomodation area.

This was really an Oasis in the Outback. We got the ground floor room we requested and what a super room it was with a huge bed, a very comfy armchair, an office chair and two dining room chairs. The furniture was very modern and the all the crockery/cutlery was in place. The second best thing we liked was the fact we were asked to leave all our used dishes and they would go in the Motel Dishwater. Externally the pool was a good size with an adjacent seating area with BBQ equipment and a a Fridge freezer. There were so many little things in the room for us to enjoy but the best thing was the provision of two chocolate Tim Tams provided in the Fridge.

There was nothing to dislike

Everything, but the stairs. Lovely renovated room with every little detail attended to. I've been a regional Tourism Awards Judge in a past life and this was without doubt the cleanest, most spic & span regional Australian motel room I have ever been in. Every surface was gleaming! It's a credit to the management. Helpful assistance with parking our car near external power, so we could keep the car fridge running, plus facility to park an additional car and loaded trailer off-street. Wholly recommend the Oasis Motel for a stay in Cobar.

Only the fact that we had to climb the stairs to our first floor room.

I asked for and got a ground floor room. The motel's sign isn't very impressive- quite indistinct from any distance. But everything else is up to standard, with modern furniture. A good bed with comfy pillows. A bonus is the office chair to use at the table, rather than the customary "kitchen" chair that requires a pillow to enable one to use a computer on the table. All the accoutrements are good quality.

I am not a fan of the current vogue in shower stalls, with no ledge to keep the water in. Apparently I'm in the minority who don't like the large square "rain-type" shower heads.

Almost everything! This is a fab little motel, everything in our room and bathroom looked very new and modern, I loved it. Has everything you want and need. We were given fresh milk 150ml, in addition to UHT milk 2 x 200ml, 2 Tim Tams, 4 Arnott biscuits. Quality loo paper too! Nice to have a KS bed and armchair. Lovely rainhead shower and excellent Remington hairdryer. Staff very friendly and efficient (thanks Shirley!).

The bed was a little too firm for our liking, that may be because it’s a fairly new bed. The sheets were stiff & rustled, maybe they’ll soften up in due course.

The room was clean & well maintained, layout was utilised well for the space & the modern features throughout amplified the stay. The split system worked well, heating the room quickly to a comfortable temperature. The bed was comfortable (firm) & the pillows the same. The water pressure in the shower was beautiful, with the added luxury of a rainhead shower head. Onsite & street parking available. Friendly service. Overall well maintained area & very clean.

When in a room on the lower level, people could be heard moving above.

Bed was comfortable but pillows both very firm. I used the decor cushion as it was "just right", Goldilocks ha ha. Bathroom was really small but I was told about this and offered a room with a larger bathroom but smaller "living " area. I chose to stay with the larger unit rather than bathroom. Loads of bench space. Loved the Tim Tams too. Unable to resist a chilled chocolate biscuit after a hot afternoon/evening outside. Pool was good. Perfect for relaxing. The bbq area was immaculate and, if I visit again, I may bbq a steak for my dinner by the pool! Easy walk to Bowls Club for dinner.

No undercover parking but one can't have everything!

The motel was clean, comfortable and exceptional value. They provided towels for the pool which was very well maintained. You had the option of fresh milk on arrival for your tea/coffee/hot chocolate instead of long life milk. They were understanding when the keys got locked in the room and provided and immediate solution.

There were no adjoining rooms for our family of 6 but we did have rooms next to each other. It still worked for us as we had one parent in each.

One of the newest, most modern and well designed hotels in Cobar. Excellent facilities, great layout and even the pillows were amazing! Coming from working in a major hotel chain in Sydneh, this hotel out performs some of these hand down. The service too is outstanding, nothing is a problem and the managers were so great to chat with. We'll definitely be staying there again during our next visit to Cobar. Tha is guys for a wonderful stay and brilliant service!!!! Xx

Absolutely nothing to dislike about this hotel.

I recommend staying here I stayed here for 1 night n I absolutely enjoyed myself the rooms are spotless it was my first time going to cobar the staff are very caring and helpful next time I'll be staying there for sure honestly I would love to move there so if you ever go to cobar stay there Because you honestly won't regret it thank u so much oasis for everything you've done for us we are much appreciated we will come back next time❤️
