I loved everything! The room, the views, the food, the staff, the caves, the spa! The Maitre d of The Hibiscus restaurant, Ms, Veronica, was so sweet. She took excellent care of me. The entire staff was nice but David and Ms. Veronica were exceptional. I had a spa in the cave! I loved it. I will forever remember the experience. It was amazing!

Beautiful beach, helpful staff

The resort has lots of steps and hills. Staff was helpful about making it accessible for my handicapped husband. However, I wish we'd been aware of the accessibility issues prior to coming.

Loved the beautiful location and the amazing food! Highly recommend the all inclusive package.

Some of the property feels a little dated but it is currently being renovated.

Room and view --fabulous Dolphin Quest Trainer for a Day was life altering and amazing. Hartley's Helmet Dive fantastic -- easy once you got in; not scary at all Millionaire Homes and Hideaways -- Very informative and a wonderful trip. You should consider adding a cooking night at the hotel -- cooking local foods and eating them.

Hot tub was not big enough to accommodate all guests wanting to use it. You need to alert your Chamber of Commerce-- Glass Beach -- very unsafe entry-- railings have fallen apart. Steps very slippery and uneven. Botanical Gardens are a disgrace -- nothing is open. Gardens are not planted and maintained. So disappointing.

We've stayed at Grotto Bay in the past. It's got a great location only about 5 minutes from the airport. No, surprisingly this is not a problem with take-off landing noise, in fact one would handly be aware it's that close. The resort is good vlue for Bermuda and the all-in-clusive option is good if you stay 3 days or more. Attreacts a very diverse, casual crord.

Honestly the drinks could be a bit stronger, but I understand this is standard operating proceedure when offering 'all-inclusice' -you don't want a rioting mob of guests! But we weren't on the all-inclusive plan and paided for the drinks. Small thing though, great place. Unique probperty.

We really liked Jeff and Estaban, two waiters. They were very friendly, as were most. The cleaning staff that cleaned our room did a very good job restocking our toiletrees, kleenex, toilet paper, and towels. Our room was cleaned early which was very convenient. The towel/pool attendant was super friendly and kept the pool area neat. The food was very good. The drinks were better at the main building than at the pool. We especially liked that they put us in a room that was ready as soon as we arrived.

We were not happy that the water park wasn't available because our sons were really looking forward to the slide. We didn't like that we couldn't have a can of Diet Coke to take to our room when we are paying for beverages with the all inclusive and do not drink a lot of alcohol. The bar was closed for some of us, but not for others. A few times the bartender was rude to our boys when they asked for a non-alcoholic beverage and they asked nicely with good manners. The all inclusive would be better if you could graze and have one of your appetizers mid meal instead of all at one sitting.

The rooms were large and comfortably furnished. The resort was extremely convenient to the bus line and provided easy access to the airport. Great beachside amenities, perfect for snorkeling, paddle boarding, and kayaking.

The resort was crowded and had way too many children. The pool and poolside restaurant were extremely crowded at all times. Unfortunately, the wait staff did not service the chaise lou ges on the beach.

The on-site caves were amazing. The heated pool was a nice respite given the below average temperatures. The breakfast buffet was reasonably priced (for Bermuda). The bus stops were at the entrance to the resort making island exploration easy and convenient.

On going construction was distracting, especially in the morning.

The hotel is incredible. Amazing ocean views, facilities, caves, and beach. The staff is wonderful and the evening events were really fun. Walking distance to cool hikes, crystal caves, and the famous Swizzle Inn. A quick bus ride to Saint George and Hamilton with the bus stop in front of the hotel.

I loved how quiet the area is, but if you are looking for busy nightlife, bars, shops, and restaurants, you would have to take a cab or bus to Hamilton. Again, this is exactly what I wanted so the location was perfect for my needs.

Location, staff, meals, rooms, grounds, entertainment, access to public transportation.

Only one negative. The resort is built hillside on multiple levels which when outside to get from one location to another requires using many steps. Transport is available upon request. Since we didn’t use it, I can’t speak to its efficiency.
