picked up from the airport by a driver from the hotel... we were late coming through customs... he waited for us, we had a good welcome from the hotel, they upgraded our room to a deluxe free of charge. very comfortable room , loads of hot water, air con and a really comfortable bed. We ate at the hotel in the restaurant, we had a really good meal.. breakfast was good also. The staff are really helpful and kind... The hotel is well situated so its quiet at night... And they are on the first page of Lonely Planet Guide, " places to stay"!!!

Staff & owners (everybody) are very nice and willing to help. They all have nice service attitude and try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. There is welcome drinks (tea) with warm welcome from the staff when you first arrive (which is hard to find among this price point).

I booked 2 rooms. In first room, the restroom was a bit dated & old. But in another room, it's just renovated so it's a lot better so I think the overall condition of the room wil be depend on which room is assigned to you.

Our one-month stay was a pleasure! Very cozy and quiet backyard to cool down after passing the busy streets in Kathmandu. The rooms are reasonable spacy, the staff is more than happy to help you with every question you have and we really had the feeling to come back to our second home after our stay.

Payment process took a long time and the owner had difficulties understanding our problem.

The staff were so incredibly friendly and hospitable, the food was top notch, the rooms are so comfortable and the design is perfect, the location is great as well to walking around and easy to snag a taxi if you need to. Everyone knew me by name and room number which was so fun and felt like home!

That I had to leave.

Fantastic central location, away from most of the noise. The green courtyard provides such a nice place to unwind and be out of your room. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Great included breakfast as well. Good value for money.

The cleanliness of the bathroom could be improved. Also the room had nowhere to hang anything.

The breakfast wasn't great, but very good for the money paid for the room+breakfast. The staff in the restaurant have good English skill, but not "native speaker" level skill. Some "lost in translation" events.

We liked the hotel because they provided an early check in the to the room (9am) which suited us . we were provided an upgrade to our room. Room was clean. Awesome balconies on all floors. Staff were very friendly and helpful. On site restaurant served great food. Location only 10 min walk to Durbar square. Overall would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kathmandu.

No hot water

Good value for money. The property has an old charm to it, Nepalese style in its true form. Exceptional helpful staff. Room was sizable. Met a couple of international travels at the hotel and exchanged travel stories and advice on Nepal traveling.

A fridge in the room would be nice

The garden was lovely and so peaceful after the bustle of Kathmandu. The rooms and beds were comfortable with great views from a roof terrace although not much seating up there. The staff were very helpful.

Breakfast and dinner service were slow but they were short staffed due to big religious festival when most Nepalis return to their families for a few days. It was great to return to after our trek for lovely hot showers ! There was some communication issue which meant the airport pick up did not happen so I would double check if you want them to pick you up. No problems with them organising a transfer back to the airport though.

It was very quiet, cosy in their garden! They had heater in the rooms, which made it very cosy for our winter visit! The personnel was very helpful and made our stay so much more relaxing! They had a guard by the gate over the night, so we felt very safe! We will definitely be back! Thanks for a wonderful stay!
