Lo Nardo is an excellent accommodation, and very well run. Really great location, close to the main port and ferry, and near lots of great bars and restaurants and a large supermarket. We had a small unavoidable issue with the room and Carmelo went above and beyond to sort it out for us. We also had to leave a day early, and Carmelo helped us sort that out. We also really liked that there was tap water available, we were doing a lot of hiking and usually go through a lot of plastic bottles, but this meant we could save a TON of bottles. Lovely shared roof terrace with coffee always available and amazing views. Excellent accommodation all around.

We were greeted at the ferry by a work colleague of Lo Nardo and helped carry our luggage to our room . The room was very comfortable and the air conditioner was very effective as it was hot while we were staying there . They have a rooftop terrace which has a lovely view of the harbour and great spot to sit and prepare some food from the kitchen and use the coffee machine . Which makes a great cup of coffee. The bed was very comfortable and it was a delightful place to stay .

Carmelo was an excellent host. He puts every effort into making sure his customers are happy and well looked after. Lo Nardo has two sites in Lipari and both are in excellent locations a 5 minute walk apart. We were in the smaller location right opposite the port, with a grocery shop next door and less than 50m to the main bus and ferry travel centre and the start of the main pedestrian area. The rooms were well appointed with air conditioning and self catering facilities and the terrace was a fabulous space for watching the world go by. To Illustrate Carmelo’s focus on his customers, after our check out, he let us leave our luggage in the reception of the larger premises and gave us full access to the large terrace as well as kitchen and toilet facilities including free refreshments. We will definitely stay at Lo Nardo on our next visit to Lipari. Thank you Carmelo.

Lo Nardo exceeded our expectations during our stay in Lipari and was a highlight of our trip. Carmelo who met us at reception was incredibly friendly and helpful in organizing reservations and answering general questions for us. The rooms we had were spacious, very comfortable and clean. The rooftop terrace was an amazing spot, and we enjoyed a bottle of wine there at the end of our evening. Lo Nardo was right off the main street and we were able to walk everywhere in less than 10 minutes.

The only downside to this accommodation is there is no elevator - only stairs, which was not a problem for our group. There are some ground floor rooms that you can book if you prefer to avoid stairs and enter directly from the street. Carmelo helped us to carry up our bags so it was not a problem at all but good to note you should book a ground level room if you have any issues with stairs.

We rented two apartments for our 6 night stay in Lipari. The first apartment looked newly renovated, had a fantastic terrace, and was super clean. The second apartment was a bit older and hot water went out after 5 minutes, but was still spacious and clean with a smaller terrace. The accommodation was overall wonderful. Carmelo was always available and quick to respond to any needs. Towels changed and trash was taken out every other day with sheets changed on the 4th day. The apartment was perfectly situated just off the main strip. We would gladly stay here again.

The Location: Perfect Residence is located next to the main street. Entrance through a narrow climatic side street. Five minute walk to Lipari Porto, Liberty Ferries, and Castello di Lipari. The Room: Very Comfortable Our room was spacious, very clean, had a nice terrace upstairs on the roof with a kitchen a view on the island. The bed was large and comfortable. Also, it had a nice balcony. The Owners: Super Friendly Carmelo is a very kind and helpful owner. He picked us from the Lipari Porto and helped us get to the residence. With his reference we also received a discount for a day boat trip around Lipari and Salina with Popolo Giallo bost excursions. Summary: The this a great place to book while staying on Lipari Island. It has very comfortable rooms with cool amenities like roof terraces and chill out zone. The owners are super positive people, frendly kind, and very helpful.

At the port, the staff were waiting for us. While approaching the accommodation we were given useful advice on motorbike rental, boat trips. The accommodation is in an excellent location, in a small street off the pedestrianised street. The staff are extremely friendly. The room is clean, the bed comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen are equipped with all necessary facilities. In addition to the kitchen, we had use of the communal kitchen on the terrace of the house, which was equipped with all necessary utensils. Meanwhile, the terrace had a beautiful view of the sea or the mountains. We will definitely return!

the location was amazing close to the port with a Michelin reviews restaurant just outside! Apartment was spacious and bedroom, kitchen, a wee study with a desk, and a balcony with laundry line. could happily stay there for months. also, amazing owner/staff. friendly and went out of his way to help me when phone charger died, making sure I got in on my late arrival, and had place to clean up between check-out and my ferry.

the air conditioner did drip on my bed the whole night, but this may be more due to the humidity and. owner came as soon as he saw message to check out if anything was wrong

This bed and breakfast had an amazing terrace from which we could see the port. It even had a kitchen so you could prepare something to eat or make some coffee. Also the rooms were quite big. We also arrived early in the morning and the host made sure we could check in early. In the meantime there was no problem at all to leave the suitcases in the reception.

Being so close to the terrace was a little bit noisy early in the morning but it was fine.

Carmelo’s communication was excellent and full of information. we were greeted at the port by one of the staff who took us to the apartment just a few minutes walking distance. the apartment was also cleaned and beds made on the second day we were there and fresh towels. I highly recommend this place for all of the above. Carmelo’s English is also perfect which is a plus as we can only speak two words of Italian. 😂
