The staff was very accommodating, helpful and friendly. Beds were very comfortable. Shower water pressure and temp was great. Most of the hotel renovations seemed to be completed. Though there isn't a closet, there are 3 hooks on which to hang coats/towels, etc. Breakfast was an average "free" breakfast. Kudos for the 24 hr coffee/hot tea station. Great hotel and reasonably priced!

The cabinet door in front of the mini fridge fell off the first time I opened it. Maybe it's so new someone forgot to put the screws on? The corner faucet in the bathroom sink (in our opinion) was poorly designed. The faucet had to be on full blast or water spilled over the back of the sink--it's also very loud. Not a deal breaker of course, just a minor irritation.

Was very clean and comfortable room . Pillows and bed were very comfortable. The staff were a credit to the hotel very helpful when we asked direction and always a nice welcome especially Gwen the manager . The breakfast was plentiful and a great choice of hot or cold food and drinks . Only a short ride downtown we used Uber or the personal transport opp hotel in universities quarters .

Nothing to dislike

Hotel was very close to WVU stadium. Standard hotel breakfast. Clean and quiet. Applebees restaurant next to parking lot. Hospital across the road, some sirens noise could be heard occasionally but not loud enough to wake either of us while sleeping.

Front desk person was extremely nice but was never at the desk. Always had to wait a minute or more for them to come out. Once she got there, she was absolutely great.

Friendly check in clerk. Clean room and other areas. Comfortable bed and bedding.

Poor selection at breakfast bar. Room had black all along bottom of wall (Mold?) Commode was too short as I am disabled it was hard to get up from it. Did not book accessible room as it costs much more. Door was always jammed and not easily opened. Had to shoulder hit it to open and I almost fell. Cleaning lady had to bust it open once too. Noisy because of remodeling downstairs. Too much money to stay here and put up with all of these inconveniences.

The hotel had a lovely staff and the property was kept up nicely. Renovations are going on but I didn’t hear any noise from it at all. The breakfast options were pretty good as well.

The entrances and exits to the property need lights terribly. I didn’t arrive until it was dark out and ended up passing up the property once because it was too dark to see the entrance without going drastically under the speed limit. This is more of a Morgantown problem in general though. Nothing is lit up well enough at night and it’s quite sad considering how much money the area brings in. Other than that the only complaint I have is about the juice options at breakfast. I had to pour my orange juice out after one sip because it very clearly wasn’t really juice. It was disgusting in mine and my friends opinion.

Gwen is an excellent employee. If it was not for her I would not be able to give this hotel a good rating. Hampton Inn needs to use Gwen as an educator for new employees for customer service. She provided such incredible customer service that she made a bad situation a wonderful experience. Thank you Gwen

I DIDN’T LIKE BOOKING.COM. They almost made this experience the worst ever.

I loved the body lotion in the bathroom. The scent was amazing I wish I could ask at the front desk for a complimentary bar soap just to have the scent at home as well. Over all the staff was friendly thank you for making my family feel comfortable.

The desk personnel were very polite and helpful. Room was clean and the beds were clean and comfortable. I was scared reading other people’s comments but I was very satisfied and would definitely stay here again.

My Dominant Mistress loved that she could paddle me as hard and long as she wished without anyone complaining. Sound proofing must have been good!! She thinks she left one rope tied to the bed! Sorry!

Great location right near the Evansdale campus. Great room and comfy beds! Easy parking. Would definitely stay there again.

Better breakfast -- maybe have yogurts? Muffins were cold, bananas were brown.
