If you are looking for a comfortable stay for a reasonable price in the heart of the action of Hollywood Beach, Riptide should be at the top of your list. The hotel is older and in all honestly a bit run down, but this is easily forgiven by the size of the room (we had a suite with 2 beds, a sofa bed, and a kitchenette), the breathtaking views, and the stellar location on the broadwalk that's an easy walk to great restaurants, shops, entertainment, and the water taxi, which is a great way to explore all the way to Fort Lauderdale. Not to mention the Tiki bar, which has fantastic live entertainment, food and service. We just had a short stay before our cruise, but would love to go back again!

Annabella at the front desk was very sweet, nice, and helpful and that was the perfect start to a maxing stay! The location is absolutely amazing! The location to the beach and being right on the boardwalk couldn’t have been better. It had a quaint little bar/restaurant with live music right at the beach. It was right on the boardwalk and very close to tons of restaurants and entertainment. The room was nice, no major dislikes. It was a little older and comfort could have been slightly better, but overall an amazing place to stay.

Comfort, a little outdated.

We were in a direct oceanfront, spacious room. The location of this property was amazing and you could not have a asked for a better view or location on the broadwalk. We did not eat at the onsite tiki bar, but the music and atmosphere was a nice addition. The room was not fancy, but the bathroom was updated and very nice. The kitchen area was convenient and functional. If you are looking for a perfect beachfront location, definitely book this hotel. It was not 5 star quality, yet fit our needs amazingly well.

Overall, we did not have any major dislikes. The beds were not that comfortable and the kitchen was not updated. Otherwise, we had no complaints.

The location was great - and the little tiki bar with live music was always hopping, but not too loud and not open real late They supplied beach towels and chairs but unfortunately we didn’t have a chance to use them

It does need a little sprucing up but it’s fine. They need some lighting outside the second building - was difficult to see to unlock our door after dark. The towels are so thin, it seems that’s one thing that could be improved, for the price

This is a great little quaint hotel along the Broadwalk in Hollywood FL. The room was huge with parking right in back. Although I did not drive, this would have been super convenient. I was sheltering from Hurricane Milton and the hotel staff was super helpful and accomodating. Walking distance to reszautants and shops and just steps from the beach. If I ever come back to Florida, I would definitely consider this adorable spot.

Excellent service, great location. Parking availability was great! Very clean and spacious accommodations. Steps from the beach. Perfect for a relaxing vacation away from big crowds and noise yet close enough to find it if that's your cup of tea.

Somewhat dated. Needs new mattresses and more comfortable outdoor seating. Picnic tables were a bit rough with no available shade umbrellas.

Location to the beach, beachfront, tiki bar and restaurant. Food was excellent, but bar is limited. Not fully stocked. Usually only 1 bartender even when busy. I love having live music at the hotel. Office staff was very friendly and accommodating. Held our bags until check in so we could go to the beach and held all our stuff after check out until our ride came an hour later.

Bathrooms are very small/tight and old. I'm a tiny woman and it was too small for me.

Room was spacious and clean with a beautiful view! We were surprised how awesome it was! They also had beach chairs with sun umbrella provided which we sadly didnt find until we were leaving. Great location right on the beach with all kinds of shops,, restaurants, bars, etc. We were in room 26 which I believe was probably the best room view of all!

Everything was in the kitchenette except coffee for the provided coffee pot, lol.

The Ocean front setting was amazing. The rooms were comfortable and the tiki bar a bonus. Staff were helpful and attentive. Annabella on reception had everything sorted on arrival. It was a late booking and check in as we had been evacuated from Naples due to Hurricane Milton.
