The property was set in gardens which all guests shared .We stayed in an upstairs room located on the garden side . The rooms were very clean as was the shower / toilet . The breakfast facilities were excellent and again cleanliness and various options at breakfast were 1st class . The breakfast choices were continually topped up and used tables cleared immediately … this was a very organised and proficient service and every member of staff contributed to a very pleasant stay . One of the big bonuses was the free parking guaranteed . This should not be underestimated as Cancale gets extremely busy and parking becomes a stressful hinderance .

Love Cancale and have stayed here in the past. Nice to have a chalet rather than just a room. Good that they now have a limited bar during the afternoon. A short walk to a good supermarket. 20 minutes walk to the restaurants and seafront

The cost. It's a pity that as a solo traveler you must pay as if you are a family of 4. The breakfast was good but quite expensive. Overall paying nearly £500 for 4 nights was too much. No air conditioning or even a fan so you had to keep the velux windows open which lets the light in from the outside which seems to stay on all night. The blind is attached to the velux so doesn't shield the light from outside.

We booked for the tail end of a disastrous Eurocamp. This hotel was a dream. So Comfortable, clean. The pool was an added bonus and you had the luxury of a hotel with the privacy of your own unit. Location was perfect as we had spent 5 hours in the car to get there. Bar served drinks during the day. We didn’t Bok breakfast but from what I saw it looked lovely. Plenty of clean towels and crisp white bedding. Bliss. The lady at reception was awesome at understanding my broken French and couldn’t be more helpful. Definitely recommend. We stayed two nights with our boys 5/9.

The location was good for travelling around the area. The reception team were so friendly and the room was spotless and clean. It was cleaned every day and clean towels provided, even pool towels. The pool area was lovely to sit by either inside or out. We didn’t have breakfast mainly because we like to get off and go walking. We were here for 4 nights before catching the ferry back from St Malo to Portsmouth. It took us 15 minutes to get there on an easy route.

The room was clean fresh and modern with a lovely outside patio set in our own area of the well planted gardens. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a family room and my children were delighted with their mezzanine style bedroom. All beds were comfortable clean towels were provided daily and the room was tidied. The pool was clean and maintained perfectly in the beautiful, wel planted grounds. The restaurant and bar were beautifully decorated.all facilities were pristine and excellent and felt new. The hotel was ideally located for day trips to local beaches St Malo , Dinan , Mont St Michel, and was a few minutes walk from Cancale centre. Nearby there were 2 supermarkets, a petrol station, pizza place and a lovely patisserie. We will return.

Although we knew there was no kettle before our arrival it would have been a welcome addition to the room.

We were very happy with the room however as we are British it could have had T / Coffee making facilities if only basic Breakfast was very good, the restaurant decorations were super and there was a nice atmosphere House keeping excellent The staff were amazing Swimming pool was very good and Towels provided.

There are external lights on the sides of the building they must be on a timer but do not go out till 02:00 with the hot weather having the velux open did mean the black out blind was useless so the bed room was bathed in light.

Perfect location, easy walk to beach and port... Very short walk around 6 min from the number 5 bus stop. Lovely staff, great setting, nice pool. I didn't drive but found it super easy to get around by bus to Saint Malo, to Port Mer, Pointe du Grouin etc

When I arrived the light was broken and blind had fallen off my window. After 5 days they remained unrepaired. It's not a big issue, it didn't affect my stay but I was surprised that these weren't fixed

Great location. Cancale is a beautiful town. The oyster farm also fascinating to watch. Swimming pool was lovely along with the table tennis and board games. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

The rooms/apartments got a bit hot but we still all slept well. Great for a few days stay. A little fridge and kettle in the room would be useful.

Loved having the pool to return to of a late afternoon. Some blocking of beds by some people which is annoying and unfair as there are a limited number of beds, but easily sorted. Take towels off and fold nicely to one side and get on sunbed!

The charge for breakfast is now 12 euros per person. The selection is OK and it is convenient but just a short distance away in town is a little cafe/bar that does a similar offering, minus the cheese and meats for less than 8 euros per person and it's a great spot for people watching. Loved the Tuk Tuk service (nothing to do with the hotel), back up from the port - 4 euros each and well worth it to get back up the hill in 30 degrees of heat.
