Taylor at the front desk was so helpful and professional. We arrived late , after restaurant /bar was closed and he gave us options for ordering food for delivery. He was very helpful in answering questions regarding where to go and did it in a friendly manner. Kenny at the Bar was excellent in describing the food and beverage available and always checking to make sure we had what we needed. I will definitely come back when visiting family. The room was a king suite with private bedroom, and kitchen facilities such as fridge and microwave. Great hotel in the area.. many restaurants in the Marina area and two nice museums to visit.

Nothing, had an enjoyable stay with no complaints. The only problem was that bags had to go up the front steps but for us , our driver helped us since there is no valet.

It was my birthday when I stayed here for the first time & my friends wanted to surprise me by putting gifts in my room before I checked in. So the staff made that happen, and nothing like that has ever happened to me before. Walking into my room had me truly shocked, was such a great way to start my mini vacation. My entire experience there was nice, relaxing, and fun. The staff was really friendly anytime I passed someone that worked there. I will definitely come here again.

Loved the atmosphere of the hotel, very upscale for a great price on a Saturday. The room was cozy and beautiful, and the cafe had a great selection of eats for a reasonable price. Also we had an issue with our room door and the front desk manager Michael took care of us by upgrading our suite, in a matter of mins. Best service I have received in years staying at a hotel. Most others will hold you hostage for a maintenance man to show up whenever he can and still have to wait around for the fix to happen.

I have no complaints. This was the best stay we have had in a years and have spent more in othernplaces that didn't look half as nice.

We were in a room with connecting doors to the another room where at 3:00 A.M. a loud gathering woke us. The night manager asked them to be quiet and when they did not he threatened to contact police. They quieted down but it disturbed our sleep. Unfortunately, this experience soured us on our stay at the hotel. Our request for some compensation was rebuffed.

We love the overall vibe. The furniture and decor seemed very thought out. Our room was lovely, too. I didn't use the fitness room. However, my teen loved it. Staff was very attentive. The customer service was top notch!

Perhaps it was just our room, but there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. It didn't affect our stay negatively, however, it was just steamy/hot after our showers.

The building is beautiful. The decor was lovely and different. The room was comfortable. The outdoor table and chairs were nice. The staff was friendly and helpful.

When I booked and before I checked in, I didn't know the doors locked at 10pm. When I first arrived and wanted to check in it was after 11pm so I had to call the hotel to learn what door to go to so someone could let me in. It all worked out, but I was nervous for a few minutes, wondering if I had a place to stay.

The staff was great! Loved the location for accessing some of the places we were traveling to. Also, I really like the size of the rooms. Would absolutely stay here again.

There were some issues when checking in that caused us to have to change rooms twice within hours of checking in. Most of this was due to a new system change that just happened to be the day we arrived. Despite all the challenges, the staff was awesome and very communicative.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The common areas are brightly lit and have amazing antique furniture. The ballroom itself was a very nice venue with its own bar and high ceilings and plenty of room for an event. The rooms all looked like they were newly renovated and they all had higher end furniture and fittings.

Within ten minutes of checking in, I locked myself out of my room! The staff was great about it and gave me new keys. There was a crying baby in the room next to me that I heard in the hallway, once I was in my room I heard nothing. Quietest stay ever! And I normally am up all night when at a hotel due to noise, but here… I slept like a baby!

Everything about this hotel was amazing! Every single staff member from check in to housekeeping staff passed in the halls to even staff at the restaurants were friendly, engaging, seemed genuinely happy to be there. The hotel is so clean, and everything smells fresh, clean and inviting. The furniture is beautiful and elegant, but also comfortable and accessible. I love that you have to have a room key to access the floors of the hotel where there are rooms. That keeps visitors to the bar or restaurant from wandering up to rooms. The game room in the basement is AMAZING! jumbo-sized backgammon, chess, connect 4, tic tac toe and scrabble. Regular sized dominos (though they were leather and lovely). We spent hours in the game room as a family every night. Right across the street is Scoops ice cream and candy shop. It's walking distance to anywhere you want to go, and is just half a mile from the harbor boardwalk and the large Saturday farmer's market! Very close to the dinosaur museum. Free parking in the church parking lot across the street was nice as well. The front porch was beautiful and comfortable.

I would have enjoyed having access to a pool, but there was so much to do that we didn't miss it. The beach was close and very accessible that we just went to the beach once or twice every day to get some swim time.
