Everything great!

All drinks are extra even if you have paid for half board. Being in Greece and in the summer I would have thought that at least the water during dinner or lunch to be free of charge. They could charge for alcoholic beverages if people are abusing them. That is the only thing that sounded me like a bit out of place. Everything else in the hotel is as great as it can be 👏👏

Elix and especially the private pool suite is unique in it’s comfort and view. Watching the sunset from there is astonishing. As a guest with autism this suite provided me a way to relax at my own pool without any external stimuli. The staff is working tremendously hard, is very professional and really kind.

The hallways can be noisy early in the morning because of other guests. I’m extremely sensible to sounds so the average guest probably wouldn’t notice it.

More Greek atmosphere (e.g. Greek music at beach/bar) would have been nice.

I’m not usually a fan of large hotels or all-inclusive resorts, but this place truly exceeded my expectations and showed me that it’s something special. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the rooms were perfectly equipped with super comfortable beds. The beach was so stunning that we barely used the pool, even though it was also beautiful and meticulously maintained. The view of the sea, whether from the room, pool, restaurant, or beach, was simply breathtaking. (I guess that that this was a part of the concept) The kids’ club was extremely well-equipped and perfectly supervised, and even though none of the staff spoke German, our children still wanted to go every day, giving us parents some much-needed time for ourselves.

The food was okay and pretty much what you would expect from a buffet—nothing exceptional, but the staff worked incredibly hard to make the experience as good as possible. It would be nice to see a slight improvement in quality at lunchtime. That said, I must admit that I’m a very critical gastronome with high standards, so my expectations might not reflect the norm. For our kids, however, it was perfect and met their needs completely.

Loved the main pool and beach in the resort and the family room was very spacious. Was the families favourite hotel we visited on the west coast of Greece. Buffet dinner was very good, best I have been too in a long time.

Pool closes very early at 6pm. With time zone in Greece you would expect to be able to stay in pool and relax with the sun setting 3.5hrs later....

The hotel is great, great view, great room, great location, careful management.

The buffet food for lunch was not great. In general the buffet restaurant i did not like the vibe, the noise, the food range was not a lot, neither was it amazing. The place is crowded, loud. There isn’t enough entertainment for young couples. It works better if you are a family. There’s many children. In the room the shower water leaked on the pre-bathroom. Amenities did not get replaced rigorously daily. Water is outside and not cold. No water in the fridge, you have to order from room service. A high end hotel needs to be with a quieter, better restaurant.

Our recent visit to Marbella Elix was truly memorable. The hotel is only 2 years old and we arrived just after the hotel opened for the 2024 season. We had a fantastic time from start to finish and even though we had booked 5 days: we did not got once out of the hotel, which is rare for us. Set on a hill, every part of the hotel offers stunning views of the Ionian Sea. Traveling as a group of eight, including four kids aged 7 to 11, from both abroad and Athens, the hotel catered to all our needs effortlessly. The main pool was a hit with everyone, large and welcoming, while the kids particularly enjoyed the smaller pool designed just for them under a cool shade. The restaurant by the pool was also pretty good. Opting for the half-board was a great choice. The breakfast and dinner buffets were abundant with too many dishes to try them all and really tasty. As you'd expect there were theme nights like Mediterranean and Asian that were particularly enjoyable. Our room had a large private pool with an infinity view of the sea, which was simply breathtaking, and definitely worth every single penny. one small negative is that I found the wine list a bit pricey. I'll add that the beach is also stunning and well run as you'd expect from such hotels with sunbeds, and clean towels availalbe and there is a simple restaurant as well so that you can have a light lunch or simply order drinks/coffees while you are on your sunbed. At the beach you can do many sea activities and we rented sea cayak with the kids for sea canoying, it's safe and defintely worth it as you have a couple of small caves. We would definitely recommend Marbella Elix to anyone looking for a relaxing and indulgent stay. It’s a place we’d happily return to and definitely set the bar higher for my next trip in any other similar hotel.

Everything was wonderful, the food was absolutely amazing, the view and the location were stunning. The room was huge and super comfortable, clean and cool. The beach was lovely as well, and the staff were very friendly and nice. We would definitely visit the hotel again and would recommend it ❤️

Although we mentioned to the lady that welcomed us, that we are honeymooners, she upgraded the couple travelling with us with a suite with a swimming pool, in stead of us…which we found absolutely inadequate and disappointing. Usually honeymooners are supposed to be upgraded, which is an absolute default, apart from that everything was absolutely perfect

the pool and beach are stunning. one of the best oceans ive ever swam in and the pool is glorious. the overall hotel experience is first class and very comfortable. it is super clean and the staff are very friendly.

the food is only okay. the breakfast buffet was good, lunch is ok (salads / sandwiches), but the dinner was a let down. the dinner buffet food is generic and bland (the 'asian' night is woeful, all the food felt pre made, probably the worst asian food I have ever eaten). the dinner at the poolside restaurant is also poor. lacking in taste and often dry - I could cook better myself. for a 5 start resort this was a real shame (also especially as there is nowhere close by to go to for food). we did not eat in the fine dining restaurant - but mainly because we didnt think the food was worthy of a bigger price tag (we were half board). the food doesnt need to be fancy - we were expecting simple but delicious and well cooked greek food.. there wasnt any greek food!
