The staff are really friendly and helpful and seem to cope really well when the hotel is busy with guests and functions. As a golfing venue, mini golfers were having a celebration event . The staff did extremely well in keeping up with the demands that went with this. It was noisy as most of the event guests were children (boys) On the other times we used the restaurant, it was quite and relaxed.We had our granddaughter with us, and we had a family room separate from the hotel complex. Again, it was comfortable with the shower and toilet separate, no clashes.

Due to an event evening, the restaurant was busy and noisy. The group of mini golfers boys were rude and pushed my grandaughter off of the swing in the garden area, upsetting for me too. The boys were completely out of control. But this must have been hard for the staff as well as I could see they were stretched and Outside of the hotels responsibility. Well done to the staff, though. It's a shame that the golfing community couldn't manage to teach their mini golfers' manners as well as teach them golf. We had room 12, and this was comfortable. Unfortunately, we had a connecting door to room 13 . The occupiers there tried on several occasions to get access to our room via this door. It was something that they may not have been aware of, and it became very annoying.

Breakfast was excellent, our room was lovely .very warm though so thankfully we had taken a tower fan with us .Probably a bonus in winter but was very warm outside .probably could of done with a mini fridge in room however we also travelled with a portable electric cooler .The staff were really helpful and friendly. The whole resort was spotless .We had children with us and the activity centre onsite is brilliant.

We did stay in a separate block from our daughter and her family so nighttime when it was dark the 2 mins walk down the driveway wasn't lit up but again not a problem as we just used our phone torches .

The property was perfect for us, we had 3 rooms as we came as a family, couldn’t fault your hospitality or the breakfast it was delicious, everything about the stay the location was wonderful we will definitely return, you was also latex free, my niece has a latex allergy and it can be severe if she comes in contact with it, so this was a big plus for us to know she was safe so thank you

We had room 30 which the bathroom is set up for a disabled person, which was fine but the shower if you turned it the wrong way it went nuclear hot, so maybe a sign for the person just as a warning, I myself and my husband both experienced the hot water burning us before we could switch it off

We stayed in room 34 which yes, was close to the main road to North Cornwall and was busy. It was quiet during the night and you only need to shut the window and put on the air con to cool the room down. Our room was spacious and comfortable and there was plenty of space in the bathroom. We spoke to quite a few members of staff, all of whom were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and both my husband and myself thoroughly enjoyed the chilled, spacious restaurant we used. I think it would be much busier during the summer though!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!!

Whenever anyone pulls the flush, washes hands or uses the shower or bath, the water pump is very loud! It would be perfect if this could be improved on but perhaps it would cause too many issues or is too expensive to rectify which is a shame.

Our breakfast at Trethorne Golf Club was good, it was self service but freshly cooked. We also had lunch and dinner at the Golf Club and found the food to be good and staff very friendly. Our bed was especially comfortable and spacious bedroom and bathroom.

Our TV in the bedroom had a fault so we were unable to watch TV in the evening, we were given the option to more to a different room but decided it was not worth moving for just one night. We were given complimentary drinks in the bar to compensate.

The location is great, the room was clean and very comfortable, the menu for dinner was varied and enjoyable and the breakfast was excellent. All the staff were attentive and pleasant.

Unfortunately being a golf setting the bar area was very close to the dining area and those using the pool table were noisy and the constant placing of coins in the table to release the balls is annoying. (MOVE THE POOL TABLE) Also the patio doors leading out to the children's area was constantly being used by children and two hot and sweaty cycle riders who passed the dinner table on a number of occasions, this is also annoying. A family with a dog in the dining area is in my opinion unacceptable unless for the disabled person. Clientele, somewhat varied!!!!! ( I am not a snob)

First of all a big thank you to all the staff. Very professional, knowledgeable and above all friendly and courteous. I stayed in what appeared from the outside to be a large house, warming and welcoming. I had a double room which was of very hi standard and very clean. Excellent facilities in the room. Breakfast and evening meals were very enjoyable, excellent variety with regards to food offered. All in all a great stay, great facilities and lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Nothing to not like.

Everything was perfect. A holiday treat for our 10 year old grandaughter. The family room was a good size with a king and single size bed. The beds were extremely comfortable. The shower room was separated from the toilet, making it easy to shower in peace. Great view of the garden from the window. The family rooms are separated from the main hotel as a single ground floor level. The rooms were cleaned and made up daily, and tea, coffee, and milk topped up. The restaurant had a good all-around menu and several choices on the children's menu. The food was very tasty and plentiful. A seating area outside of the restaurant had lovely views and a children's play area. The staff at the hotel were polite, cheerful, and very helpful, and I would return with my grandaughter as she loved it and was upset on the day we left, and I promised her that for next years summer treat. Just a few minutes' walk is Trethorne leasure farm and there is something for everyone. It was great being able to walk to the farm and, after an exciting and exhausting day, be able to walk back to the restaurant to be fed and watered then fall into our room later in the evening. Unless, of course, you have a few games of bowling that is open into the evening. Great time, thank you to all

Really large and spacious room. good cupboard space. very comfortable bed. Plenty of space for the dog. Excellent food and service from lovely staff.

Unfortunately, we found the shower impossible to use. Once you got it going, you couldn't turn it off and then you found the water had run down the wall of the shower and straight out into the bathroom. We didn't use it again.

There was a mix up with the booking which meant we had to pay a little more, no ones fault, but the lovely chap on reception gave us a lovely room outside the main building, off the road , so it was quiet. The room was a goid size, spotlessly clean with a massive TV! Really pleased with it, would definitely stay again as the buffet breakfast was ace too!

The building doesn't look great on tge outside but it's excellent inside!!
