The room and bathroom was super clean, and neat. The staff was very helpful in assisting me in finding my appointment the next day.

The gym needs to open earlier then 6AM. I needed to work out by 430 AM, in order to make by business appointment.

We had breakfast around 9:30 AM. The chaffing dishes were for all intents and purposes emply, they didn't need to be full but you had to scrape the sides and corners to get a serving. For the people after me they were functionally empty. I know that waffle irons are toughy for the none informed, but my waffle stuck in the iron and broke up in pieces to get it out. The iron could of used a little finger pump light oil spray to easy the situation.

The breakfast is excellent. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff is always cheerful, friendly, and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect too, especially for this trip since were there for BSU's graduation.

On this trip, I traveled with my older mother, and I noticed that the tub was a bit slippery when I took a shower. She did not use the shower because there were no handrails in the shower or something grippy on the floor of the shower. My only suggestion would be to look into something that would help make the shower less slippery. We were just there overnight, so it was not a big inconvenience, but if we had a longer stay, it would have been more of an issue for us to deal with. As a young person, this isn't something I paid attention to in the past, but as my mother has gotten more unsteady, it's something I'm more aware of when traveling.

Most of the employees were wonderful! Staying at the country in & suites before the Blue Ox Marathon was ideal. Continental breakfast was great.

There was a very grouchy female employee on the morning of Saturday, October 14th. She had tattoos/wore tennis shoes, not sure of the name, but she was extremely rude to hotel guests there and short with our children, even though they were behaving in a respectful manner. Every other employee was great, so we can't let her ruin our time there. The pool was also pretty heavily chlorine-smelling but we understand that's probably a health requirement and probably can't be controlled.

This is a really nice hotel. The guy that checked me in was super nice and helped direct me to a couple places off property that I needed things from. The room was fantastic, large, spacious, comfortable amd clean. Bed was comfortable and the pillows were good as well. Breakfast was also plentiful with a decent assortment of choices. No complaints at all there. There is also a restaraunt (Tavern on the South Shore) connected to the hotel which was absolutely fantastic (I know that's not technically hotel property but if you need a bite to eat when you roll in I can't recommend that place enough) If I am in the area, and need a room, I would gladly stay here again.

I honestly can't think of anything that I truly didn't like about this stay. Not being familiar with the area the road in/out to get to the hotel was a little odd, but GPR helped without problem, that's not truly a reflection on the hotel though.

We really enjoyed our stay. Front desk staff were very accommodating and we were happy to get an upper floor room to decrease potential road noise. We had a beautiful lake view and enjoyed the sunset. The lakefront trail is accessible from the hotel and was a beautiful walk. It is a bit of a distance from downtown but we liked the quiet area and didn't mind driving in for dinner. You could also walk about 30 mins each way. The pool was great. The breakfast was the best we've had at a hotel - many hot food options, oatmeal bar, usual toast and treats, two coffee roasts, etc. Staff at the breakfast area were extremely friendly and ensured food was always fresh and available.

I was very dissapointed in learning that a number of people were checking in through booking.com had no reservations listed tab the property booking.com and the property need to work together to ensure. a room for people that book through 3rd parties when we checked out we asked for a receipt and they were going to email. we get a call a little later saying we were cash only but we paid booking.com via credit card back in august when we made the reservations get your acts together

Hospitality, friendliness, and the over all great experience. The Tavern and not having to go elsewhere for eating at night. The view of the lake, breakfast is always great. Personnel that run the restaurant are to be commended they bend over backwards to help you.

All the amenities they offer. Quietness and watching that children are respectful of adults in pool. Just overall everything.

Breakfast was OK but very crowded and noisey. Lots of kids running and loud talking in the hallway that we could hear while in our room. But very nice hotel friendly staff. I guess you have to expect a little chaos and noise when the hotel is full

Breakfast options were excellent. It's always great to have many options, especially when traveling with kids. The hours worked nicely as well. We loved the convenience of the onsite restaurant and access to the Sanford Center.

Our stay was great, exactly what we expected.
