We were very satisfied with our stay. The room was spotlessly clean and quiet. We were really lucky that our balcony had a great view of the volcano. The room was cleaned every day. The memory foam mattress was very comfortable. One thing I really would highlight is how smooth the self check-in service was. Even though the apartment was not staffed all the time, the self check-in instructions (codes to enter the building, apartment, and room) were accurate and easy to follow. Even though our room was not ready for an early check-in, we were able to use the check-in codes to enter and lock our luggage in the designated large locker for storage until the room was vacated and ready. At one point, there was a building-wide power outage so we could not enter the building using the code. I texted the staff via WhatsApp and they IMMEDIATELY (!!) responded with detailed instructions on getting the backup keys out of a secure lock box. It really was exceptional service.

There was a fridge in the room, but it would have been nice to also have a coffee maker and/or kettle in the room or common area, as well as plates and cutlery to snack in the apartment.

The location is excellent, 7 minutes from Garibaldi Central Station and the metro, literally across the street from Nolana train station if one wants to travel to Pompei, Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi. There is a bus stop of #151 which goes to the ferry if you want to go to Capri etc. There is a farmers market, freshly baked bread, and fish stalls in the back street and numerous restaurants serving delicious food at affordable prices. Towels were changed every two days, the rooms were nice, the beds were comfortable. Gianluca, our host, was very responsive to our queries even at 11:30 PM via WhatsApp and the exchange of keys and the storage of our luggage after we checked out was well-organized.

Some strange quirks with the hot water in one of the rooms but there was a quick fix and it was consistently running hot.

The host was very attentive. Quiet building. Accommodation behind several locked doors so i felt safe in the room. Room was spacious and very clean. Great air-con. Working fridge. Balcony. Memory foam bed and pillows - very comfortable! Spacious bathroom. Room cleaned and tidied each day as an extra. Supermarket across the road. 10 minute walk to Napoli Centrale train station. Great place to stay as a base for Pompeii.

No cups/glasses. I fortunately had 2 plastic glasses in my case. The area isn't very desirable. Very dirty and busy. I didn't feel particularly safe outside. View from balcony wasn't the best.

We stayed 4 nights in Napoli Central Gate.They provided us fresh towels everyday and cleaned the room. Our flight got delayed for a few hours, but we didn’t have any issues with check-in. It was very smooth! The room was very clean and nicely furnished. The bed was comfortable and we had a nice sleep. WiFi works very good in the room. We visited Pompeii, Capri and Amalfi during our stay and this location was perfect to reach the public transportations by foot! To Napoli Porta Nolana was 2min walk, to Molo Beverello was about 25min walk and Napoli Central Station was 10min walk. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They gave us tips for nice restaurants in Naples. I enjoyed staying in this hotel. If I come back to Naples, I would like to stay this hotel again!

I only spent a night here and it was great. 5 minute walk to the station and a quick taxi ride to the port. My room was bigger than expected, had a great ensuite and AC. The property was spotless and they have storage lockers if you need to leave your luggage prior to check in as I did. Easy to walk around the neighbourhood and some great food options close by. Others have mentioned noise but I found it very quiet, although it was a Sunday evening.

Everything was great and better than expected for the price.

Clean, spacious rooms, super comfy bed mattress and pillow (you literally sink in them), 8 min walk from the central train station + metro (Garibaldi), right across the street from the Circumvesuviana. The room faces the back end of the street so that acts as a buffer for the street noise during the night Easy to find, elevator access.

Shower is quite narrow and small so you have to be a bit careful when showering in order to avoid potential injuries.

This accommodation was a very pleasant surprise! It was very well decorated and the facilities were quite excellent. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean and the place seemed recently renovated. The shared kitchen was very well stocked. The location is good, there's a large grocery store almost across the street and the train station is very close by. There is also an elevator which was quite a nice surprise. We felt it was a shame we were only there for a night!

My only grievance (which is not the accommodations fault) but at around 1am there was extremely loud construction or deliveries being made just outside. This went on for quite a while but perhaps it was a once off and not a regular occurrence.

What a lovely surprise, a spacious well equipped room and facilities with a very comfortable bed. Also a very interesting location overlooking a lively Sunday market. We did not use it but there was a very well equipped communal kitchen. Don't be put off by viewing google street view, it looks rough but is quite safe to walk about even late night. The room for a city location is quiet and silent if you close the balcony doors - there is aircon. The location is perfect if you are planning to visit Sorrento, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius or any other location on the trainline Circumvesuviana. Cross the road outside the property to the train station Napoli Porta Nolana and get on the Circumvesuviana train, you will be virtually guaranteed a seat as the majority get on a Napoli Centrale. This is very handy as it takes between 30 - 45mins depending on which train you catch. It is also worth using www.ticketone.it to pre-book your tickets to Pompeii, Herculaneum and other sites and events, worked well for us. The location works well for visiting central Naples. We walked to Via Forcella and on up the Via Vicaria Vecchia home of the traditional craft of Presepe. very lively area with plenty of bars and restaurants. About a 11-12min walk... on the way back excellent gelateria - Il Gelato Mennella on the Corso Umberto I 5min walk back to B&B Napoli Central Gate. If that seems like to much walking take a 6min walk to Piazza Garibaldi and use the Metro to reach all parts of Naples and out to Pozzuoli. We used it to get to the Naples Archaeology Museum (Metro Museo) and then back to (Metro Duomo) before going to eat out on the Via Vicaria Vecchia then a walk back as its all downhill : ) If you are visiting Pompeii, Herculaneum we would strongly suggest visiting Naples National Archaeology Museum as the finds from these two sites and others were taken here and so many are on display. There is so much here you could spend a day or more!!!

We stayed here the night before we went to the airport for our flight back. It's very convenient as it's close to the train station if you want to take the bus and there is a taxi stand across the street if you want to take a taxi early in the morning. Taxis were harder to come by later in the day and seemed unlikely to offer the fixed airport fare once it gets busier.

Not much around the area with respect to sightseeing.

The location was great.

There was a smell in the bathroom which is most likely the sewage smell that almost all of Italy has. As long as the window is open to air it out, you should be good. Although we love the location, just prepare yourself with a lot of homeless people on the street when walking to the metro. We didn’t have any issues at night and ignored them.
