Good location, next to Transfagarasan road.

The horrible smell from the canalization…making all the room stinky. No fridge( In the restaurant there were a lot of people, many of them were not even staying in this hotel. It took long until the food was served. In the morning the buffet where the breakfast was serves was awful. At 9:30 there was nothing to eat, not even boiled water. The waiters were refilling everything very slow. Very disappointed about this part((

It was perfect place on the Transfagarashan road close enought to visit the Balea lake and Sibiu. Hanul has nice large pool to relax. Also basic, but tasty and not expensive menu in the restaurant. Our room has nice balcony with the mountain view.

The room was lack of any kind of equipment that became basic in any hotel: no fridge, no kettle, even no chairs but only some cubic poof. The room has very nice balcony, but no chair to sit on.

The swimming pool is great. Open to 21. Good dinner, but you need to pay extra. Rooms were clean with nice view to mountains

No air-conditioning in the rooms. Breakfast is served too late. It starts at 8.30, so if you want to start early in the morning you need to skip it. Not possible to pay just for room, price for breakfast is calculated in room price.

Good dinner but average breakfast. Although food was good there were not many choices. Room was big, quiet and we enjoy the terrace looking over the mountains. It was warm and we missed a fridge in the room. Overwall a nice experience and good place to stay for transfagarasan route. Swimming pool area looks amazing I went to check but we arrive late, tired and had no time for swimming although we made the booking for this reason.

Convenient location to head out on Transfagarasan in the morning. Only 24 km to Bâlea lake. Clean room, nice shower with great water pressure/temperature, balcony with view of foothills.

Restaurant on hand was convenient, also included breakfast which I normally like. It just seemed like the customer service at the restaurant was a little lacking. Vegetable Soup was pretty good, but breakfast omelette was nothing special.

The location, the playground, the terrace and the staff. The room was very clean, we had all we needed for a 2 night's stay. Food is good, too. Not too cheap, not too pricey.

The lighting - cold, small lights across the facility make it look cheap and dim. The fact that they have nothing to drink for breakfast except for coffee/tea and those run out fast. This was a real turn off. Not even water - you have to buy it and it's not really cheap. You could hear a little through the walls at night, and there was a construction site opposite - we had some noise on the first day. Also they are pretty busy so 1 more waiting aid would help.

I really liked the pool, which is quite new, big and clean. The view from the balcony to the mountains is wonderful. Good price for a place close to the mountains.

However, the furniture in the room is outdated and needs to be replaced. At breakfast, there is a rather limited offer per order.

We choose this place because it was close to Balea Lac and breakfast was included in the price. The room was comfortable and the view from it was nice facing the mountains. Dinner was available on site and it was delicious.

The breakfast was nice but there isnt much to choose from. We stayed 1 night and it was nice but i wouldnt want to eat the same every morning. There were dog poo all around the tables outside. And its not on the pictures but there is a construction site right next to the hotel, there were no noise or any disturbance when we were around.

The hotel is a good spot to stay the night and start the next morning on the Transfagarasan road. Balea lake is 45-minute drive, and you can get there before the crowds arrive. This place had good lemonade and the best omelette I had all week at different breakfast places in hotels in Romania.

There is nothing much to do around if you don't want to drive somewhere. The staff could have shown more interest when we ran out of drinks and food.

We liked the pool, the breakfast had a lot of choices and the location is close to Balea lake and waterfall, Albota resort, the Tail of the calendar, Badea Cartan museum, and other sites...

The restaurant closes at 21:00, and they are a bit understaffed...
