Firstly, it was a very warm welcome by the lady who owns the business. She was really lovely. She certainly knows how to treat people. Knowledgeable about her town and tourist interests. Excellent breakfast. The room was clean and airy even though we arrived on a day when temperatures were high. It was everything you expected of a hotel without fuss. We hope to visit again later in the year because of this experience!

Thé location was excellent, very close to everything in La Chatre, a charming historic town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great value for money too and wonderful to have free parking right outside the hotel !

Friendly hostess, nothing is too much trouble. We have stayed here 4 or 5 times and will definitely be back.

The rooms were a bit dated but totally fine for our purposes.

Fantastic location a short walk into town, cafe bars, restaurants right on your doorstep, staff very efficient, bed comfortable and shower water hot with good pressure.
Property decor is rather dated, and carpet/wall coverings are showing their age, a little money spent on these could really lift the property.

Wonderful large snowy white bed, wonderful bath, warm and cozy and traditional. Charming manager who was so kind about our dogs and was a pleasure to talk to.
