Stayed for 2 nights in mid December. We've visited St J in T before and hoped to ski a day and knew that the Crystal was handy for the lifts. The hotel wasn't fully open for the winter season ( bar and restaurant still closed), and we were very kindly given a free upgrade to a balcony room, and had a complimentary coffee machine. Clean, comfortable, great location and lovely spacious rooms. We only saw one staff member, and she was really kind and helpful. The Christmas Markets were on in the town square which is just a short walk away, and so beautiful and uncommercial.

Nothing! It was ideal for our 2 night stay.

Location, it's so close to good restaurants and the cable car. The staff were knowledgeable about the local area when we chatted in the morning. The bed was very comfy. The sound proofing is great, we did not hear a sound from other rooms or doors closing elsewhere.

Arriving on a Sunday no one works at the hotel after 6 pm. Check in is done via the internet if arriving after 6 pm and has to be done by 6 pm as the staff all go home. We were in the Alps until 5.30pm and did not receive the internet check in details until 5.40 pm and we had a panic to check in online. We did it with one minute to spare but if you have no internet you cannot do it and would not get the code for the security box to get your key and you would be locked out all night. This was too stressful and not good after having already paid for the room.

Location was ideal for short walk to the Ski lift, reception staff very friendly. Lovely Spa area. Fantastic views from balcony.. Very clean throughout. Lovely Bedroom.

We were unable to book in to the Hotels restaurant any evening we tried as it was fully booked. Breakfast was extra, we tried it one morning but choice was limited, we prefer a hot English breakfast with eggs/bacon etc. The firm (Tonys taxis) the Hotel use for taxi were very unreliable !

we booked without breakfast only to realize that nothing (ie bakeries) in town is open on Sunday as an alternative for breakfast. 19 EUR /person for breakfast is pretty expensive! what was on offer was good but nothing super special.

Breakfast was delivered to the table. It was plentiful and delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Close to ski rentals and slopes.

Wish they had a hot tub, but sauna was very nice after a day of skiing.

Great service from welcoming, attentive staff. Had a wonderful meal put on by hotel at a lake below the gondola mid-station. Able to watch the Tirol solstice fires from a spectacular spot. Great food and service. Magical experience.

The room is a reasonable size but no minibar or refrigerator, no accessories for making hot drinks or coffee, minimal equipment in the shower needs urgent renovation, small parking for only 12 cars at a cost of 15 euros per day.

Extra payments for parking 7 € on the hotels own parking area as a hidden payment for the rooms (who would want to park the car 600m away from the hotel on the public parking?) Sauna switched on only on request between 3-7pm, the receptionist didn’t told us when we arrived at 5.30 but told about ALL the wellness opportunities included. Free drink until 6 pm - guess who didn’t told us when we arrived. The place seems spirit- abandoned and very much focus on pretending to offer lots of "free" things - if you arrive in time or when you request it. We take our motorbikes tomorrow, drive out into the mountains and never look back to Crystal Hotel 😀 How do you spell Gastfreundschaft?
