- Amazing team. Friendly, accommodative, supportive, human-like. - I travelled for my birthday and got an upgrade as a little present for the birthday. I will comment on the quality of the room below, but it’s indeed a very nice gesture to receive a minute after walking in the hotel. - Fantastic interior design. Love the modern approach working together with saving historical heritage of the building. That’s why I chose the hotel and that’s why I’ll certainly come back.

- very average breakfast. Very-very basic, not very tasty, small variety. Riga is cheap enough to have fun breakfasts somewhere out every morning instead - small details are not thought through. Say, in the room with a bathtub there’s not showerhead stand that would make it comfortable to have a shower under. So, there is a stand, but you can only put showerhead strictly vertically there. At this point I wished they didn’t upgrade my room bc the one I booked had a walk-in shower

This hotel is excellent. Located in the most ideal place right at the heart of the old town. Personal is friendly, receptionists are happy to assist and allowed to have our luggage left for 3 hours after check out, which is appreciated. Hotel consists of few historical buildings. Following narrow passage way from the building you can easily get into Riga Black Magic of local Riga balsam cocktails and sweets, which is very authentic and popular, and a must for visitors. To the next passage way right at the hand of the hotel is iconic Musicians of Bremen and historical St. Peter's Church. Additionally they have entire rock theme bar which is a nice place for a late night pint, - it had an extensive variety of ales, stouts and craft beers. In the morning in this venue there is a breakfast which is full of choices even for vegetarians and vegans. Selection of cheese, vegetables, fruits, bread and loads of hot dishes available, variety of coffees, sparkling water, hot water, etc, to choose a drink. You will definitely not get starving if you opt in for breakfast! Room is equipped with a coffee machine (coffee from capsules) and a mini-bar. It also has slippers and iron. The stay at this hotel was at top and really enjoyed it. Considering hotel is consisting of a renovated historical buildings, there are no elevators. If you book a standard double-bed room, there's only shower, no bath tub.

Staff was very helpful. There was an error with their system and we were assigned to tge wrong room, however this was solved immeadiately. The room is very well designed. Interior is beautiful and convenient. Our room was very quite. Location is great, not far from central station, in the old town, next to a small mall. We paid for breakfast at tge property, and tge food was great quality, good selection, tasty. Highly recommend

I enjoyed my stay fully. The only thing to consider is that not all buildings in the hotel have an elevator, so if you are with kids or have health issues, maybe you need to tell the hotel in advance to arrange a room in a building with an elevator.

I had a great stay here during my weekend trip. The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was nice, comfortable and clean, it had a hairdryer at the bathroom and other necessary stuff. Also I could relax in the evening watching TV comfortably. The hotel is in a great location in the middle of an old town close to the local attractions. I also enjoyed breakfasts at the bar opposite, they're really good, you can choose from a wide variety of food. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit and recommend it to my friends.

Arrived and immediately felt welcome and enchanted by the archway of fairy lights on a cold snowy January evening. The staff at reception were kind, smiling and attentive. As I checked in I was told my room had been upgraded to an executive suite. Id come away for a few days of post Christmas me time, without the kids/partner/dog, so the room upgrade was a wonderful thing to be greeted with! The room itself was spacious, clean, warm and decorated in soft and cosy colours. Great mini bar selection and all the stuff you need when travelling with only hand luggage..hairdryer, toiletries, towels, iron etc. amazingly comfortable bed and plump pillows. Great breakfast and perfect location right in the centre of the Old Town. The city itself is incredible. I loved the architecture and history, and the Ala Folkklubs on a Wednesday night was a real highlight. I couldn't have picked a better place to stay for my break in Riga. Id definitely stay here again and will be bringing the family back to Riga.

The only reason its not a 10 is I was a bit disturbed by the room next door on the phone very late one night and stomping around but it was a minor thing and not the hotels fault.

I took my wife to Riga, for her birthday (an art nouveau lover). The hotel, an old convent, consists of several buildings, with 5-10 rooms per site. Perfect location in the center, the room is really large and has all the comfort needed, very large double bed-with very comfortable mattress, tea/coffee excellent (Illy coffee pods, .) heating excellent/thermostat controlled, secure, nice size mini bar, lighting excellent (4-5 options), very good shower with complementary shampoo & conditioner, nice smelling soap, calm, buildings and rooms most probably recently refurbished.

A spare duvet would have been nice (some people get cold in any circumstances), 1 curtain rail needs attention.

The hotel is located right in the centre of Riga and it's comprised of several buildings. We stayed in the main one, the "House 1" and it was elegantly furnished, cosy, modern and at the same time felt homey. The staff was very young, dynamic and professional and was able to sort a last minute issue with the plumbing on the same day. The room was lovely, spacious and well arranged. with several skylights and windows to get natural light from. The bathroom was spacious enough, well designed and clean. Breakfast is served in the building opposite of the main hotel facility, in a what, by night, is quite a popular restaurant/pub. The breakfast covers all sort of needs and has both warm and cold dishes and pastries.

Just to really be picky probably the breakfast area is not the most convenient, should you stay in buildings other than the main one of the hotel as it implies a quick walk outside (be it a rainy day or else). Also, despite offering a wide variety of choices of all sorts, the breakfast arrangement could definitely use some yogurths and maybe a better variety of freshly cut fruits.

The location is ideal - close to everything but generally quiet given that the rooms are in buildings located inside a courtyard. The room was nicely renovated and the bed was comfortable. We appreciated the tea and kettle and having a little kitchen (although we only used the fridge). Really nice in general.

The first room we were shown had a slight sewage smell (these are old buildings so understandable), so they kindly moved us. Our room was on the ground floor and we kept the windows open for air and light, but we sometimes had other guests standing/sitting just outside our room talking and the lack of privacy was a bit awkward. Next time, I might request a higher floor.

Top class location in the heart of the old town. The hotel is spread out over a number of buildings. I was in Building 2 and I was VERY impressed with the room. It was modern and tasteful. Very comfortable. Wonderful heating in the winter. Loved the design and decor of the rooms. Bed was very comfortable and the room was spotless. Didn't hear any other guests during my stay. Room was VERY quiet. There are some terrific restaurants and vars with a 2 minute walk as well as a gallery mall. The location is perfect. Staff were helpful and kind. There is a mini bar in the room.

The breakfast was good but could have a bit more selection. The lighting in the restaurant is also a bit dark so I was not tempted to try lunch or dinner in the restau. How and ever, you are spoiled for choice with the vat selection of restaus around.

The location was amazing; right in the centre and a short walk to all the beautiful streets and attractions. The hotel had just been recently renovated so everything was new and spotlessly clean. We weren’t in the main building but that was fine. The room was quirky and spacious with a lovely bathroom.

The aircon broke during the hottest day of our stay. The hotel receptionist and the security guard tried to get it working for us, but to no avail. The hotel offered a different room, but It was late and our last night so we decided it wasn’t worth it.
