Fantastic location right on the back of winter garden and a very short walk into the shopping centre. We stayed due to a dance competition and could not fault the location. Fantastic to have a lift at the hotel, stayed in lots of hotels in Blackpool that said they have a lift that actually don't, but this one did and it was working. Which was great as had one of our party had a phobia of stairs. All members of staff was very friendly, nothing was to trouble and hotel offered a singer shame it was only an hour. But she was fantastic breakfast was included but would have said it was more of a childs than an adults, but again for the price can't complain.

Rooms was very small had 2 triple rooms with a double and single bed. But was small. However was not the end of the world.

the location is amazing, the breakfast area, service and food were good. All bar one member of the staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was poor, window did not close, new mattress needed, pillow was very stained, hole in the bathroom wall, wobble shelf and wardrobe / draw needed skipping. The view from the window, its ok looking down on the alley, but it could as least be cleaned. The room itself was clean, just in desperate need of updating, including the corridors. My main issue, having to ask for the music in the bar to be turned down twice, once at 12.30 and finally at 1.00am is totally unacceptable for a hotel. A space outside is needed for smokers and those eating pack ups, rather than the front steps of the hotel, making it look more like a hotel from the getto and very uninviting.

Did have a little attitude off reception when 1st checking in saying that pets had been stopped a month before I arrived and booking. Com had been notified but once I explained that I'd booked 6 months in advance then it was sorted.... So check at this hotel if pets are still aloud if your thinking about taking your pet

The staff were very helpful and responded quickly to any issues or needs we had. Breakfast was very good and our special request for bananas was enacted. The room was a good size and a heater was provided when the central heating failed to work. The maintenance man responded straight away when I reported difficulties with operating the shower. My husband was very pleased that BBC text services were available on the TV.

A few instructions about the best way to get the shower to work may have helped and it was very difficult to turn it off completely.

Staff are really friendly and welcoming. Helpful and will adore your pooch. Very doggie friendly place. Dogs can enjoy the bar with other dogs and the place is in a very good central location. There isn’t parking available however , just a mere 750yards from hotel is an overnight 24hour multi-storey car park which cost £12 a night.

The Friday night we arrived we had an awful nights sleep. The people staying above us were arguing which we unfortunately due to the older state of the building and very thin walls heard the most part untill early hours off the morning which means we spent a good amount of time on Saturday trying to catch up on missed sleep.

Location is excellent for the tower and winter gardens. Great stay, good atmosphere and facilities. Room clean and had everything u needed tea coffee soap and breakfast was spot on. 😊

Only complaint was the bed was sooo uncomfortable and hard. Could feel the springs in the mattress an poking out the side. Could do with replacing or mattress toppers and some extra pillows in room as one flat one didn’t cut it for me.

I had a full English breakfast with perfectly cooked poached eggs both mornings. I could not fault anything on the breakfasts. The hotel staff were very helpful and pleasant. The evening reception/bar staff were equally helpful and present especially Mark who helped us with the karaoke. Our room was clean and comfortable even though it was fairly basic. Situated in an excellent location in Blackpool.

I'm sorry but I can't think of anything that I did not like about this hotel. We would definately stay here again.

We were at the darts at winter gardens and this location was perfect. Literally across the road. We had booked a parking space at the rear of the property where we were directed too. We then gained access to the property and a staff member shown us to our room. The rooms were clean and standard for what was required. Towels,bedding, tea and coffee facilities and soap provided. Very good price and just why we needed. The bar was good and staff were super friendly

The breakfast was 8.30 am - 9.30am This was too early for us as we had been drinking the night before. Sadly we missed the breakfast. It would of been nice if it was u til 10.30

Central location close to all tourist attractions and train station. Public car parking less than a minute away. Hotel was clean and staff super friendly. Overall a very pleasant stay. I will be recommending this accommodation to my colleagues for future stays.

Rooms at the back could be a bit noisy at night with the guests at nearby hotel using rear smoking/outside area no fault of the Melville's though. The kitchen extractor fan (I think that's what causes the noise) started around 7am and is a bit noisy. Bathrooms could do with a bit updating and overall wouldn't hurt from a lick of paint. However after just starting to recover from the pandemic it could be that finanaces are not available to do this at present.

The staff were wonderful and very accommodating. It was the perfect location for winter gardens

There were 2 beds in the room.. mine was dipped in the middle and very very uncomfortable. Both ends of the bed were up in the air, i didnt complaint as id already moved from a hotel that had moved me 3 times on our first day and this hotel was betrer than where we had been. My daughters bed was perfect. Down by the shower it was a little grubby, i appreciate its a hard to reach area but the cleaners should at least try. Maybe get a tooth brush around the seal of the shower. Other thab that perfect
