Overall, the room was small, but spotless. The only light in the room was provided by two lamps, but they provided more than enough light. There was also an electric radiator for heat. Plenty of blankets to keep warm, and there was also several USB plugs for my gear. There was also a fridge and a microwave. Check out time was 10 AM, but I texted the owners, and they gave me an 11 AM check out. There is an excellent barbecue place right across the street from the motel. It’s cash only, but they have an ATM, and the food is worth eating there.

While , the electric radiator was nice, there was only one place to plug it in, on one side of the room. So it didn’t provide as much heat as it could have. Fortunately, the place to plug it in, was right next to one of the beds. That kept me warm. The TV had a decent sized screen, but there was no remote. I could have texted the owners, and they would’ve gotten back to me, I’m sure, but I had iPads, so I was fine. The bed was a little bit firm for my personal taste, but I know that’s everybody’s tastes are different.

Charming place that has been excellently updated with features you wouldn’t expect in a motel. Had a large corner suite with all the amenities required and more. Surprised to find heated floors in the bathroom, touch lighted mirrors and great modern shower. Nice large really comfortable king sized bed with big tv. Kitchen is really nicely outfitted. Only thing found in recent travels is the suites leave out kitchen towels/wash cloth but had my own and no bags in garbage cans. Unit has gas oven and large fridge. Outside has large deck with a barbecue. This property has it all and really nicely decorated. Check in is so simple. They send you an email with details and door access code and in you go.

Nothing really, its lovely. Only thing was fridge was full of water under bottom crisper and had some residual food pieces but didn’t deter from the place.

You can tell that there has been substantial capital investment into this mid-century classic motel along side Hwy 395. The original neon sign was cool (but not working). The kitchen unit with a king size bed, nicely & recently remodeled was very nice, but too bad there's a 'gap' in cleaning staff as unless it gets maintained and cleaned 'better' it will deteriorate rapidly. Just a lack of attention to detail by maintenance and cleaning staff. Nothing real terrible to us: food residue in microwave, no water cups (there are 2 nice stemmed wine glasses, 2 coffee mugs, and eating utensils), BBQ fairly filthy, no soap of any kind anywhere (hand, or liquid) just dishwasher pods. No coffee filters (but one coffee packet). Fridge had food residue. BUT there was a nice TV, excellent Mini Split air conditioning/heating wall unit, comfy foam style bed, luggage rack, clothes closet with hangars, nice kitchen (gas) range/oven, nice size fridge, fairly new front porch with table & padded benches. Overall a nice place. Just needs 3 interior lights changed and someone with a discerning eye for cleanliness. Right across the street from an excellent BBQ restaurant. We'd definitely stay here again.

A few cleanliness issues. No soap. 3 overhead lights out, but not so bad that we couldn't see. There were plenty others.

This property came as a surprise for us, we were expecting a simple roadside motel and nothing more. This place seems to be old but everything inside is modern and in very good condition, including the bathroom. There is some outdoor furniture so guests can spend time outside before going to bed.

There is no ice machine here, the reception was closed in the evening when we arrived and also in the morning, although we left after 9am. We found no staff at this place, we checked in with the codes they sent.

The room was clean and comfortable, although small and the amenities were adequate.

The people who clean need to pay a little more attention to smaller things like the coffee maker. I poured water into the reservoir of the coffee maker and then noticed it was full of dried coffee grounds. Obviously, one of the guests must have poured coffee into that part of the coffee maker either out of ignorance or on purpose, and that is not the staffs fault per se, but when they clean the room, they need to pay attention to things like that.

Cottages are recently remodeled and updated such as a lighted bathroom mirror with defog capabilities, new walk in tiled shower, heated floor with option to heat room from same control as well, coffee pot, mini fridge, & tv, parking right in front of cottage.

There is no office. We were confused as to what we were supposed to do as everything was done through text and my cell coverage was spotty (not their fault). Had to put the coffee pot on the floor to reach the plug.

Nicely renovated property, although the rooms were quite small. But the shower stall was huge and the bathroom great. Towels were fabulous. The Wi-Fi however was very bad. Something you might expect in a developing nation but not the USA. And since the TV was streamed content, it needed to buffer all the time. The owners and staff are trying hard. But the Wi-Fi needs a serious upgrade before the property is overall appealing.

Very nice looking motel. Good rooms. And very convenient electronic key from the door - as we arrived after midnight - it was very useful

It was very cold outside (around 24F) at night when we arrived and the window in the room was open so the room became completely cold. We started up the heater. It made it a bit better but not enough so we had to sleep in clothes with the hood. Only in the morning with the sun temperature raised better

We stayed for one night on our road trip. The room looked very pretty and the beds were super comfortable. The bathroom had a huge shower and was very clean (just like the rest of the room of course). The check-in was super simple. It was a great stay that I can 100% recommend.

The only thing that I didn’t quite like was that the towels smelled kind of… weird? But I‘m sure they were clean.

Very quiet, nicely appointed room and a modern bathroom, table outside each room, excellent beds.

Wifi reach was patchy (best outside), room was too small to open two suitcases on the floor. All transactions were done online a day or so before arriving (so you need to have internet access), no staff contact at all though someone apparently lives on site.
