The hotel is located next to the fantastic long and wide sandy beach. In addition to the sea the hotel has and exceptionally large and beautiful outdoor pool, a nice second outdoor pool and a large indoor pool. The restaurant is very comfortable inside and outside, the food is great. Rooms are large, comfortable, clean. The hotel is surrounded with a lush garden which includes a sushi bistro and an ice cream kiosk. Taxis are available 0/24, plus there is a public bus to the city.

mention anything that could have been better.

Overall the rooms and venue were very good and high quality, maybe a little aged though. Staff in the main were very friendly and service was very good. Room cleanliness was excellent as were the facilities. The restaurant dinner was excellent as was the service.

The wifi was woeful, I was there for a conference and everyone had the same experience. It was very slow, and sometimes completely down. I tried to stream Netflix and it was 50/50 success at best. In my opinion the coffee was awful, I suspect that all of the lobby and restaurant coffee was Nespresso pods and a foaming jug, it was not good coffee at all, we ended up going outside for coffee. The breakfast I felt was underwhelming for 30 euro's per head.

The breakfast was diversified and for all tasted . The room was very comfortable and clean. The cleaning staff are very qualified and respectful.

Was a big problem with the schedule of the pool… it’s important to have access of this pool at 8 o’clock in the morning not of 10…. The hotel has not reserved places on the beach and if you can go in the morning until 10 o’clock isn’t possible to have a beach chair available… also the prices of its isn’t acceptable 24 euros/day for two beach chairs… booking is important to inform the customers

The hotel is in the best location to the beach and the swimming pool is a great draw for my kids who love the size of the pool. The views from the pool over to the port are the cruise ships are fantastic. The bedrooms are roomy and very pleasant. They could be updated but I have no complaints.

There are not enough beds around the swimming pool and there are a lot of beds reserved for suites which were not used. The food around the pool area is also very expensive. In terms of the dining area, it feels like a lottery whether you get to sit in the expensive seats at the front of the hotel or the garden area at the back which is very tired and needs updating.

From the moment we arrived, I knew I was going to love this hotel. The lobby is beautiful, luxurious but welcoming. All staff were most attentive and the hotel is set on the most beautiful and well looked after grounds. The pool area is calm and relaxing and the pool itself was wonderful. We stayed in a room for 3 and it exceeded my expectations as we had ample room and wonderful pool and sea views. I will definitely be returning.

Around the pool area the sun beds are set in a way that if the person next to you has their umbrella up, it will put shade on neighbouring beds which is a bit annoying. A small issue but it would be good if this could be reconfigured.

Location was perfect and the decor & grounds of the hotel were beautiful. The breakfast, pool restaurant and the main hotel bar had really good service. The sushi restaurant & staff were exceptional. The view from our room was stunning

Did not enforce the ‘no reserving sun loungers’ Reception told us we only needed to make reservations for the sushi bar. Maitre d’e of the main restaurant on our last night was patronising & said we had to be out within 85 minutes when we said we didn’t have a reservation and did not apologise until we complained at the end of the meal. He removed our drinks from our bill but it was a disappointing end to our trip

Beautiful hotel, very clean and comfortable, beach front, lovely pool area, nice drinks from the bars, lovely staff

I like to swim but the pool was like ice so was very disappointed with that I think the pool area should be open by nine at least, I needed a bottle of water and bar didn’t open till 11am, the breakfast I think should be included in the quite expensive price, I paid 30 euros and it was cold, I heard lots of people complaining about the breakfast.

I had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Las Arenas Balneario Resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The hotel itself is stunning, but what truly stood out was the enormous, pristine swimming pool—a perfect place to relax and unwind. The proximity to the beach was an added bonus, offering us the chance to enjoy the sea just a few steps away. Every detail of our stay was amazing, and leaving was harder than I ever imagined. I actually had a tear in my eye (LOL) when it was time to go! I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

nothing that I dislike

Clean, comfortable and well positioned

We had a nearly bad occurrence with the waiter service due to either misunderstanding or purposeful deception, following a meal the waiter repeatedly insisted we finish of with an aperitif (a rum) that he recommended (we thought this was a complimentary offer) eventually I did and asked for the final bill, it was then to our astonishment he had added to the bill the cost of ONE SHOT of rum totalling 30 Euros. After complaining that this was offered and we did not order it the manager removed it from the final bill.
