10/10 recommend!!! The hotel is beautifully designed and makes for the perfect getaway or staycation if you’re a local. The room was big and spacious, with two exit door access, either into the main hotel, or outside to the veranda overlooking the Clearwater River. The bathroom has a pretty large tub with hot tub jets (me and my partner both fit in it comfortably). They also offered us a free breakfast from the local bakery. Also because we went during their “slower” season, im pretty sure we were the only ones in the entire building. Although they don’t have a front-desk person through the night, they made sure to be accessible to us in the event we needed anything. The gentlemen who checked us in was super polite, and helpful while getting us familiar with the place. I definitely will go back! And recommend it to anyone who is looking for a little getaway in the mountains for relaxation and beautiful scenery.

There is nothing I can think of, to be honest.

I have stayed at upscale hotels like The Benson, in Portland and the Westin in Seattle. This lodge is every bit as elegant. The rooms are spacious, clean and elegantly furnished. The breakfast, in downtown Kamiah is very good. Rolf was especially congenial and informative when checking in. A little out of the way but definitely a great place to stay. We will be returning customers whenever the opportunity arises!!

The driveway is easily missed but that’s the only negative.

Excellent hotel, rooms were large, facilities in the room were good, most items were new and well maintained.

There was no food onsite and you had to go to a local cafe for breakfast which was good quality but makes it more difficult in the mornings, the staff were there for a short period in the evening and then the hotel was unmanned.

Really neat inn with a very interesting history. The room was super spacious and the room looked over the river. Enjoy chatting with the front desk help, Rolf, who gave me a background on the place and had some helpful advice on finding places to eat and other things to do in the area.

Nothing much!

Good location. Comfy room. Pretty quiet for sleeping. Surrounded by beautiful trees, a big river, and a canyon view. Really excellent surroundings. We just might drive back here from home for an overnighter. Very dramatic setting and a beautiful, stately hotel.

Breakfast was off-site.

True hidden gem - old world inn - with some great staff and views. We loved it so much we extended by a day to get some more of the place and surroundings

Victorian decor, yes, but beautifully modern and comfortable! Beautiful setting out in the woods. Huge bathtub with jets. Great breakfast at local bakery included.

Liked everything - not your fault it was too hot to sit out on the beautiful balcony until evening.

Beautiful and well-appointed facilities building seems almost new, spacious rooms. Good bathrooms, everything you'd like

Transportation was motorcycles and the driveway is completely gravel a little bit of a challenge. Hopefully they're planning on paving it soon...

The location and view were spectacular and it was a very relaxing stay for us. We were traveling on US 12 from Aberdeen Washington to Detroit Michigan, and Hearthstone Elegant Lodge was a highlight of our trip.

The room in which I stayed was beautifully and originally decorated, spacious, impeccably clean and comfortable. I found the atmosphere of the hotel (as suggested by its name) elegant—yet unpretentious.
