Felix and Alexane are very attentive hosts, full of imagination. It was a beautiful surprise to find in the room a vinyl player with our favourite records. The breakfast was generous and tasty. It was brought to us in the morning at a specific time that we asked for in a big picnic basket. Our room was full of charm, with old wooden beams, overlooking the village church and wine hills. It had everything we needed. Very clean, with a spacious shower. Felix and Alexane even prepared their own tourist guide book helping you explore the region. Bravo!!!

What a magical place! We stayed in one of the beautiful renovated rooms with beautiful exposed stone walls, high beams and magical decor. We ordered dinner at the property which came in a beautiful picnic basket will local delicacies and a beautiful bottle of wine recommended by Felix. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in the Burgundy countryside to explore further this is a must!

Les Cabottes is a little bit of a different but very pleasant experience but can absolutely be recommended 👍 It’s located a little bit outside Beaune, in a village called Change. The rooms are beautiful and delicious home made food is served in a picnic basket either to enjoy in the room or on your trip around the countryside. Felix and Alexane, the owners, will take good care of you.

Lovely setting with a view on the vineyards. Very comfortable stay in the newly refurbished Maison d'hotes with a spacious room, comfortable matress (no topper, but high quality and good for both back and lateral sleeping styles) and absolute silence (in the night, until the church bells ring at 7am..!). Young and very professional (and hipster) hosts, who can complement the stay with high-level recommendations and loads of other services. Loved the touch of a record player in the room with blues viniles. Great access to nature and just a 5-10 mins drive to several of the most interesting appellations of Hautes Cotes de Beaune wineries, from Meursault to Pommard, Volnay or Santenay. Highly recommended. Will be back when in the region.

Be aware that the property is a bit off the track, it requires a car to reach -- about 20-30 mins drive to Beaune / motorway, and 4-5 mins drive to the nearest boulangerie.

This property has been beautifully and thoughtfully appointed within a lovely rural village. There is a cycle path very close by which takes you through the grape vines of the Grand Cru Route of Burgandy. It is a peaceful retreat from the nearby town of Beaune which is really interesting. The owner was delightful and the home cooked meals delivered to our room were absolutely delicious. We loved it and we wish we could have stayed longer. I recommend it to anyone wishing to explore and taste the delicious wines of this region. Stay more than one night!! Fabulous

The church bells did ring a lot but it added to the local atmosphere! And at least they stopped overnight!

It’s a perfect getaway option. It is in a lovely village with basically no amenities so you do need a car, but this is a given with this kind of accommodation. Alternatively, you can rent e bikes through the property and this seems like a good option as well. But, the house and rooms are absolutely charming and the host Felix is a great guy. Get the picnic dinner (and a bottle of wine) and enjoy it al fresco, it is so worth it.

We loved everything about Les Cabottes! Felix and Alex were so helpful and made everything fun and enjoyable. The room was incredible, the view was breathtaking and the food was delicious. Felix also gave us the most informative and fun wine tasting with such delicious wine that we have taken some home and went to the vineyard where one of the bottles' grapes came from to drink it there!

Fantastic facilities. The owners have done a fantastic job with the place. Unique touches like having a turntable and vinyls in the room and a lovely dinner serviced in a basket made our stay very pleasant indeed. I would definitely recommend.

One night wasn’t enough. I will definitely be back visiting Les Cabottes. The room was extremely clean and the interior style is wonderful. I highly recommend booking here and staying here longer than just one night. Everything is taken care off.. amazing home made breakfast delivered in your room, wine tastings, good food and great hosts!

Stunning, rural location. So quiet. Like England 50 years ago! Felix and his wife have put so much care into every detail, both in the rooms and meals. The baskets of dinner and breakfast delivered to your room, where exciting and delicious.

That we only had one night. We hope to go back for longer
