The host was absolutely amazing and made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was beautiful and all laid up in the dining area. Traditional and delicious. The Riad itself was located in a central location easy to walk about the town and markets. Although initially tricky to locate due to no street signs once we found our bearings everyone was close by. The locals are extremely helpful, although some do request a tip. Be mindful on the roads as the traffic doesn’t stop for anyone and can be chaotic at times (you will get used it!) lovely local restaurants and very good value for money about £12-£16 for 2 people to enjoy a meal. This usually includes olives and bread. Alcohol is not served at most eatery’s. But can be found in the carrfores (supermarkets) . All in all a wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend the Riad Sesame and will be returning
The traffic took a little while to get used, also when in the markets it’s difficult to look without being encouraged to buy something. You can easily get lost inside the souks.

It was exactly what we have expected and were looking for. Traditional place, clean, comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, willing to accommodate all your needs and provided a lot of advise. Although at first glance the street looks a bit to the side, it is actually safe and very well lit. My friend and I, 2 girls, came to the hotel even at midnight without any issues. I would recommend this place and I would go there again.
To be honest not much that I didn't like, if there was 1 thing, I would say the soap in the bathroom, there was one, that smelt nice, but didn't quite do the job like I was used to.

If people in the same trade hope to fully enjoy the local folk customs, this is the market outside, and there are many very delicious restaurants. We arrived at the hotel after nine o'clok in the evening. When we arrived, the hostess provided us with free mint hot tea and snacks, which my mother liked very much. In the evening, we wanted to go out and find something to eat. The hostess immediately found us a map, marked the nearby markets and restaurants in detail, and told us the prices and product differences of several markets. Someone comes to clean up the guest room every day, and the room is very tidy. You can get to the hotel soon after you get off the taxi, and the location is super safe. There are more than three kinds of bread, jam, nut jam, honey, coffee and milk, and mint tea for breakfast. The service staff was very friendly and enjoyed the breakfast. When we left, the hostess took the initiative to call a taxi for us. The bed in the room is very soft, as warm as home, and has folk characteristics. It's a perfect place. I'll choose it again when I come back.
Not dissatisfied. Knowing French can make communication more convenient.

It was my first time in Marrakesh. I was feeling a little apprehensive. The communication with Riad Sesame before my flight was really good and they answered my questions, putting my mind at ease. They sent a taxi to pick me up and I was met from the taxi and given a warm welcome. The riad is about 10-15 min walk from the main square, but in a quiet location with a really nice Morrocan bath place and eateries very nearby. The breakfast was good and available till 11 am. I was comfortable in my room and slept really well. Latifa went out of her way to help me plan sightseeing. I can highly recommend Riad Sesame and will be back.

Close to Medina markets. Housekeeper very accommodating especially as on arrival we were offered herbal tea and biscuits despite being in the evening. Rooms had everything you would need including essential air con and cleaned every day. Loved the breakfast too 😋
Is not a dislike as such but the rooftop terrace wasn't open during our stay because it was considered too cool in the evening but did miss that little bit of outside space. Not sure when that would be open so worth asking before booking if this was an important factor when making a reservation

The staff were so lovely and accommodating! So warm and kind, really friendly. We were able to check out late and breakfast included was so wonderful and filling, far beyond our expectations. It's a small riad, so it was more like a boutique experience. We would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone who visits Marrakech! The riad was so well kept and they tidied our bedroom/bathroom so vigilantly.
The A/C was dripping throughout the stay, which isn't the staff's fault obviously but it wasn't properly fixed while we were there. Towels were a bit small on me (woman) but fine for my friend who's a guy. We atayed for a week and there wasn't a turndown service. Sink was draining slightly poorly but these are all such small things compared to how lovely staff and stay was. Like all of this is sooo nitpicky- definitely cannot recommend enough!!!

Latifa is a great host. Allthough we do bot speak french, she explained everything to us in a way we could easily understand, giving us important advice on what to visit in Marocco. I especially appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the delicious breakfast with home made Amlou and the Maroccan crepes with honey. The Riad Sesame is located on a small quiet alley next to the bulevard. It‘s about 10 mins walking from the shopping streets in Medina and 15 mins walking from the Jamaa el Fnaa market (the central market). Also, I had here the best sleep during my holidays, as the bed is very very comfortable.

Madame Latifa is the person in charge at the Riad. She was very helpful and very kind. We could even leave our luggage for 2 days for free in the Riad, while we were on a trip. She organized us a taxi to pick us up from the airport and back. The Riad is very good located, close to the Medina and the markets. Many restaurants around.
Be aware: In the riads all the rooms show towards the inner patio, so you can´t hear the noise from the streets, but from the other rooms.

The place was very clean and the host Latifa was very warm and welcoming The breakfast were fresh and a good variety. The Riad was nice and pretty and most importantly the location was perfect. It is based in the central location and thus convenient to walk to most places
Everything was great but we were a little disappointed with bathrooms Considering we were in a Muslim country I was surprised that the toilets did not have a arabic shower But overall everything was wonderful

This riad was a lovely little find, and we loved it so much! Before arriving we asked the owner to book us a taxi from the airport and without hesitation this was accommodated. On arrival, we were offered mint tea with some very nice biscuits, which we thought was a super nice touch from Madame Latifa. The room is excellent size, bed is comfortable and the bathroom is a good size. Breakfast is served in the morning to your own pre arranged table and it is so nice and has loads of typical breakfast items from Morocco! On the first night, we arrived late and were very hungry and asked Mme Latifa where we could eat, she recommended a place nearby that has good prices and really good food, and we enjoyed it very much. Finally, we also asked for a taxi to the airport to be booked on our last day and Mme Latifa took us all the way to the taxi, which was a very nice gesture. Overall, this was an amazing stay! Side note, learn French before going to Morocco, English is not spoken in many places!
