This was my second stay at Dar Dahab. I had the contact information for Ammar the Manager from my prior visit. I texted him to set up our airport pickup. From the moment we arrived, I immediately felt at home. The space itself is very calming, eco friendly with an amazing yard in the middle and access to beach. It is owned by the most wonderful host, who is welcoming, spiritual, gentle and cared for us like we were staying at her own house. The staff got us all our needs from beach towels to money exchange or planning day trips and getting us food from our favorite places. It was very difficult for me to leave, and I already booked my next trip. I travel all around the world and stay at 5 star hotels and resorts internationally but Dar Dahab feels like a home, it does not give you that feeling of angst that you want to be home after a long vacation, it rather makes you want to stay longer!!!

Everything!! This is such a wonderful place to stay. The team are so friendly and helpful. They helped out with all sorts of queries we had via whatsapp and in person. The apartment is even better than the photos, all cooking facilities you need, super clean and has a fab beachfront location. The reef and sealife you can see just snorkelling out front is great. We did the traditional Bedouin evening meal too with lamb cooked under the sand and claypot beef and it was exceptional. Easy to get into town walking or taking a 2min taxi (of which there is an endless supply!). Can't recommend enough.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful - it uses the gorgeous local craftsmanship for its furniture and decor, and the effect is lovely. It feels spacious, luxuriously simple, and uncluttered. The staff are extremely helpful and kind and I really appreciated all of their efforts during my stay. They are also extremely responsive. The roof deck is a lovely place to relax. The location is peaceful and there is access to the Red Sea just outside the door. Just a short walk a couple of blocks away are some nice cafes, juice bars, etc. Though the hotel is a bit farther from the "boardwalk" area of Dahab, that busier area is still very accessible if you like to walk or it's a 20 EGP taxi ride. For those looking for a peaceful stay, I would very much recommend this place!!

It IS pricey in comparison to other hotels in the area - the price of the other services from them is also a bit higher in comparison to many of its peers in the area (e.g. the taxi they quoted me from Sharm airport was $12 USD more than I usually pay for safe quality transportation between Sharm and Dahab). It does come with a kitchenette and direct Red Sea access, and the quality of the service and decor is top-notch, so those are things to consider when looking at the price. The only other issue is that my mattress was awful - it was simultaneously rock-hard and lumpy.

We loved our stay at Dar Dahab. Nahed was incredibly kind and thoughtful and we couldn’t recommend staying here enough. She very kindly upgraded us to a sea view room on arrival and the room was beautiful, bed was comfy and falling asleep to the sound of the waves was just magical. It’s just a short walk down the beach or the road to get to the main town, it was nice to be in the quieter side of the strip. We arranged a lot of activities through Ammar which were all well organised and well worth the money including a desert day trip, snorkelling at the blue hole and swimming in the blue lagoon. All unforgettable experiences. We would 100% stay again and found Dahab a wonderful spot for sun during the UK winter.

The bathroom could maybe do with a bit of updating but other than that the whole stay was perfect.

The place is filled with exceptional relief and vibes. From the moment you step in you will get indulged you in its beauty. The only comment and when i say this its because it is unacceptable and it is in regard the way of management, as it sort of lacks the sense of hospitality and smiling to the guests . Please reconsider the way of management, and unify the way you deal with all your guests (foreigners or locals. It is a concept). I had comments from my friends during the stay and including myself of some sort of arrogance in communication and behavior, which was seen and felt unwelocomed from the manager. Other than that everything was magnificent and many thanks to hospitable and genuine owner

This pace is simply awesome and has everything I need for a perfect vacation. Great location, beach front and in a quiet place. You can also easily walk to the area where most of the restaurants are. Ammar the manager is a star, he supported us in multiple fronts: helped us organize our diving journey (and even convinced my wife to do her fisrt diving experience), supported us calling taxis and airport transfer and even brought a medicine for my dad who had a stomachache one day. In summary I strongly recommend staying in Dar Dahab and I hope to come back one day

Nothing, I only wish I had more days to spend there

Dar Dahab suits and space look exactly as in photos. It sits right on the beach, in between neighborhood houses. You become part of the local scene when you stay there and it is beautiful. It is about 15-20 minutes walk by the shore to city center and to all restaurants, which provides a nice peaceful detachment yet it is close enough to everything. The gem of Dar Dahab is Amar - the hotel manager, who is simply amazing! so helpful and friendly, and has exceptional customer service skills. There was nothing we needed help with that he did not make every effort to accommodate! we thank him so a lot.... Ask Amar for the Matfuna, which is a whole chicken he makes in the sand, by the beach. Wow!

Dar Dahab was stunning - both the common areas and our apartment were beautiful, clean and tastefully designed. We had people approach us on the beach to ask about the hotel because it's so visually striking. The location on the water can't be beat, and we felt relaxed and safe. It's about a 20 minute walk from the main strip, but there are great restaurants within a 5 minute walk of Dar Dahab (our favorites were Seaduction and Shanti Cafe). The staff was friendly and helpful. We would absolutely return!

We had a lovely vacation at Dar Dahab. We stayed in one of their sea front rooms which are facing the sea, and are just 20 meters away from it. The sound of the sea waves was just wonderful at night. The hotel is tastefully designed and its location is excellent – on the furthest and most quiet stretch of the Dahab beach—close enough to the hub but far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. Amar and his staff are super friendly and helpful. A wonderful experience!

Everything about this property was amazing. From the hotel itself, to the owner & management. The stunning view, the cleanliness, the comfort. I truly loved everything about my time at dar dahab
