The location was fine. It was pretty quiet; not far from the road. Breakfast and food was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and the bed was great!

1. Low water pressure. The first morning, no water came out at all because of low water pressure. After communicating it to the staff, the water pressure issue was resolved. 2. The door locks must be changed. They did not make us feel safe. Lock looked like it was slightly detached from the frame. This must be changed.

Location of the facility is great and I was not deceived by what I read on Booking.com about the location of the facility. I was actually searching for a facility in that location. I very much liked it. The bed in my room was excellent. I can only compare it with beds I have slept on in other five star hotels. Honestly, I was late for breakfast because I had an early morning appointment. On my return however, one of the front hall staffer did everything to let me have a good break fast. In my short stay in Starford, I was able to learn about some historic areas in Sierra Leone as I found out from my conversation with the friendly staff that facility also runs a tour guide - I had very limited time to accept an offer from the management to take me to a Chimpanzee Sanctuary (Tacugama) about 20 minutes away from that Starford facility.

Well, it is obvious that there is nothing like perfection anywhere. So, in the case of Starford facility, I can only suggest efforts to ensure the water pressure in the bathroom is increased. Otherwise the hot/cold water system worked very well for me. The air conditioning is good. I was not too keen on cable news but the TV showed very clean pictures and the sound very audible.

Location is very good and safe. The staffs are very professional and friendly. Beautiful views from our room. This is our second time staying at Stafford lodge, we love it here and we will be back. I will definitely recommend it to friends and family members.

Fantastic hotel. Owners are always around to support guests and staff members were ready to SERVE. The facility feels like home and it's just a few distance from the US Embassy. The view from the room is also fantastic

Liked most things to be honest.

Breakfast was good with freshly made omelet. Excellent part was the warm welcome extended by the lady responsible for the restaurant/ breakfast.

Options of restaurant menu , which was really limited. Should have international menu to cater international guests.

The staff and management made me feel valued. They were attentive to my needs, regardless of the time. Absolutely Glorious views in the mornings, I would definitely stay here again

A beautiful hotel nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking the hills of Freetown. Room was specious and clean. Had a short stay but would definitely recommend it as a great place to stay when visiting Freetown.

Best hotel we stayed at in Sierra Leone. Great location, well equipped rooms with good AC. The best thing about the hotel though is the staff. The hotel manager was amazing. We had some problems with our PCR test prior to departure and she helped us out a great deal to fix it. We also had some very nice and interesting conversations with her and other members of staff. We can wholeheartedly recommend staying at Stafford Lodge!

I wish there was an iron and safe (deposit box) in the room. I don't need to pay for ironing my clothes.

The lack of pressing iron ans limited choices for breakfast.

Usually there is a buffet set up. Here there is a breakfast buffet set up and you get a complete breakfast plate of food brought to your table. Excellent!
