Great location and superb property. Didn't expect it to be that nice. Large apartment with two double bedrooms for just two of us. A large sitting room with TV and sofa. The bathroom was superb too. Lots of wardrobes and furniture. Entrance hall was well decorated. Three balconies with superb alpine mountain views. Not to forget, the bathroom also had (4th) balcony! Quiet and beautiful neighbourhood, walking distance to town centre and all facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff (even helped to take our luggage to the apartment on first floor). Car parking and charging facility. The breakfast was very good. We enjoyed squeezing oranges ourselves for fresh juice.

first of all the suite we got was amazing with view...the staff were amazing especially enej and gregor . also the ladies working there... it was so clean .. spacious... calm .. with good parking .. the location is perfect and its 15 minutes from italia and 12 from austria ... it was amazing two nights... also i asked for a water heater and they gave me

it lacked a minibar and coffe machine in the room ...

The staff are very lovely, attentive, and helpful all the time. I was upgraded to a bigger room. There is free parking in front of the hotel. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. There are fried sausages, fried eggs, and fresh orange juice. It is a very good hotel and I will definitely use it again if I go to Kranjska Gora.

It's a bit far from the lake (1.5 km) but if you have a car you can drive and park nearby.

It’s a family run small hotel. Super friendly owner even helped us to unload luggage and brought it up to our room since there are no stairs. They even advised us on where to explore and dine. We were upgraded to a 2-bedroom suite with balconies facing the mountains. Rooms very spacious and comfortable. Heating, wifi perfect. Free carpark on the premise. They have a few double, triple and quadruple rooms. Breakfast is adequate for a small hotel. Hotel doesn’t serve dinner but they recommended us to Hotel Lipa for dinner and it was really good esp. the fried tempura prawn since Michelin guide, Milka restaurant is closed on every Tuesday.The hotel is usually closed 2x annually ie. during Nov and the week after Easter. Highly recommended place with reasonable room rates, too !!!

Nothing that we didn’t like.

Throughout our stay we were welcomed by Miklic family in the most polite and kind way. Even though we arrived pretty late, Mr. Miklic personally waited for us, kindly welcomed us and suggested places to eat in the town which were still opened at such late hour so that we wouldn’t go to bed hungry. When seeing us over the next several day he showed keen interest in our travel and hiking plans and kindly arranged wine and snacks every evening. The breakfast was superb with great variety of food and drinks to choose from and several options for personalized egg meals prepared according to our wishes. All in all a very nice and comfortable place to stay in Kranjska Gora

It was our first holiday with our 7month old daughter and can’t appreciate enough how much we loved it for choosing Kranjska Gora and this hotel. The atmosphere in the town is incredible. We like quietness and our trip in early May was perfect timing it seemed. There are miles we could walk with a baby stroller. Jasna lake is just about 1km, while it’s also possible to walk to Zelenci via quaint, scenic paths. Honestly, walking around in the town and surroundings was the best part in my view. The hotel, run by a very welcoming family, is spotlessly clean. Breakfast has a wide spread and the quality of stuffs is top-notch; everything was so fresh! The breakfast area is also very nice, well lit on sunny days and spacious. Could not fault anything after staying for 7 days. There’s no lunch or dinner facility available but that’s not a problem at all with so many places to eat within a very walking distance. We really liked eating out at Kotnik and takeaways from Shanghai (for a change of flavour). Great housekeeping on a daily basis, great toiletries refilled if required, and rooms are spacious with everything you need. We had a perfect weeklong stay here and would highly recommend without any doubts.

This was our second visit to Hotel Miklic which is a recommendation in itself. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. Our room was spacious, comfortable and recently refurbished. The breakfasts are substantial and there is plenty of choice and dinner can be obtained at a number of restaurants in Kranjska . This is an ideal place to stay if you wish to explore the nearby countryside or visits the nearby ski slopes. We hope to return

The room was large and spacious. There was a large bed and a sofa with coffee table. The staff were really friendly and attentive to the needs of the guests. The breakfast spread was lovely and it felt like home because the staff made you feel like they thought about you. They placed the high chair at the table without us asking which meant that they prepared for us in advance. They cooked fresh eggs to order and had vitamin C drink shots. balcony with views of the mountain.

Just not that there is no lift at the property. We were fine with this. The receptionist helped us with some luggages as our room was on the second floor.

We felt at home in the Miklič family hotel. I can describe the hotel as pleasant, comfortable and family-friendly. Everything was very clean and in its place. The breakfast was excellent, varied, with homemade jams and various breads. The location is excellent with free parking (you can ask in advance about the availability of parking). The hotel also has a fitness center and a private sauna. You also have a ski room where you can heat and dry your boots and store your skis so you arrive at the ski resort dry. In short, we had a great time at Hotel Miklič and will return to our pleasant home again. The biggest plus, of course, is the staff, who are friendly, professional, helpful and welcome every guest at the highest level! :) Thanks and see you soon!

Size of the accommodation, balcony with the view onto the mountains, bathroom, breakfast, good hard mattresses in one of the two bedrooms, location that is perfect to start hiking into one side of the Triglav National Park and beyond...and above all good, smiling and approchable staff always ready to help and provide information.

Hard to find anything to dislike, but here is a technical one...the mattress in the second bedroom was a bit too soft.
