Very good hotel. Slightly more old-fashioned, but decent rooms. We were therefore in the old part (there is also a new building). Breakfast was excellent. Rarely had such a good breakfast. Nothing to complain about. The restaurant was also very decent, nice value for money. Ideal for fish lovers, but also for people who like to eat pasta or can enjoy a schnitzel.

The pool was fine, but was somewhat ruined by noisy Italians who felt it necessary to try a flip every 5 seconds. Not really nice to read your book there. Addressing them didn't help and personally I thought the hotel staff could be a bit stricter.

The breakfast was excellent I was able to order egg of a variety of my choice which was omelette which was delicious. The variety of food was very good including sparkling wine for breakfast. Your used plates were taken away quickly and orange juice or other beverage inc sparkling wine were waiter service all good. Our room was excellent large shower room etc lovely fluffy towels etc.. we had 1 of only 2 large superior rooms with a balcony that over looked the swimming pool which we used.There was a restaurant which was excellent they also gave you a 10% discount voucher the food was amazing . Excellent parking towels available for the swimming pool for a deposit of €20 which was understandable.

The deluxe wing, the location of our rooms, was new, clean and comfortable. Breakfast consisted of an amazing choice of cooked, continental and fruit. The pool was warm and clean with good views over the countryside. The staff were helpful and polite Near to wine region.

The coffee machine in the room was 2 euros a cup - no complementary tea/drinks. The restaurant when we were there, was empty so we ate elsewhere.

Location, view

The restaurant was closed and even if this facility is included in the description on Booking, we were not informed about it when we made the reservation. We had a long trip from Italy and we made the reservation especially considering that we can have the dinner in the location when we arrive. So, after our 10 hours drive, we had to get in the car again to go to Sezana and have a pizza in the only location that served us without reservation....

All in all great value for money. Slept in the new building of the hotel. One of the best included breakfast in all time, super comfortable bed, friendly stuff at the buffet, well located behind Triest for travellers. Small garage for motorcycles.

At the reception the staff's reaction time was slow, maybe they are understaffed. Close to the Hotel there's no Restaurant (Except the Hotels one) and other shops. Next ones are 35 minutes by foot. You definately need a car

Cleanest hotel think we’ve ever stayed in. Excellent breakfast. Very relaxed but very well run hotel. Home from home. Very quiet at night. Lovely pool area.

As advertised as hotel & restaurant was disappointed that we were not informed during the booking process that the restaurant would be closed for the duration of our stay. Meant having to drive out every evening to eat.

We stayed in the new section of the hotel and had a wonderful balcony view of the pool. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast had a great selection of fresh, healthy and delicious foods.

There are older buildings that are not the same standard as the new section.

Breakfast was great. The staff was very nice and extremely helpful. The view is astonishing. Our car broke down in the parking lot and the nice receptionist helped us out and was able to fix the ptoblem and start the engine. Thanks a lot!!

The pool is small but that is the only thing. The services in the restaurant where you get a discount through the hotel was terrible. The hotel it self is great.

Everything is top!! All clean and well taken care of, staff super nice and attentive. An exceptional value was the included breakfast, varied and fresh, it's a must! I would definitely return!

A bit confusing to reach but maybe it was just me being tired and not properly following GPS (reached it through some very narrow streets). Once reached, is well worth for its peaceful location.
