Love the location nice residential quiet suburb. Close to the beach and other restaurants. It’s modern, rooms are spacious and it’s practical for self catering.

It’s the water pressure in the shower however I’m aware of the water challenges we have in SA.

I had an amazing stay at Coral Wood! The location is perfect safe, quiet, and close to the town centre, beach, and trendy bars. There’s ample parking, and the fresh daily breakfast was a lovely touch. The self-catering facilities are excellent, with a fully stocked kitchen, great bathroom and toilet amenities, and a good TV package for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The reliable Wi-Fi made it easy to stay connected, and the owners were always accessible and helpful. I’d definitely stay here again if I returned to East London. It’s the perfect spot!

Early check-in and check-out times, but honestly, this is only worth mentioning because everything else is so lovely! It’s not a negative just me being very, very picky

Once in a while you find a real gem. That’s Coral wood. It is a great location and spotlessly clean. We spent 3 nights there and the hosts were amazing. Also had my little toddler travelling with us and she had a great time. There are so many wonderful little touches that just make the stay even more special. And that attention to detail, coupled with the great safety and beautiful setup of the rooms and common spaces just made it truly memorable. We loved our stay.

I have no complaints

Great attention to cleanliness and appearance, also very evident that security is general is very good, nice touch not to have the need for any keys or remotes. Worthy to not Wi-Fi is exceptional. Staff reasonably accommodating.

Rooms, were smaller than expected, no DSTV, realize this is a cost, but can one really do without it, if you don't have Netflix you have no options, not sure if this is the normal trend now with accommodation like this.

East London is my home town and I had never booked a stay before, I was so excited when I saw this place, the location is quite and very safe. The property is clean and beautiful and I can’t wait for the chalets at the back to be finished I’m going back… the room is a beautiful mix of antique/vintage and modern. Love the keyless entry,you don’t have to worry about loosing your key 😂😂.. Shops and restaurants are just around the corner…Had a peaceful time and this is a hidden gem 👌👌👌

Nothing to be honest

Tranquil! Is how I can best describe the place. The place looks great with its modern finishes. Breakfast was lovely, my dietary requirements were taken into consideration. My daughter loved it very much, especially the entertainment part. The presence of the inverter made our lives much easier as we were studying and using the internet more often. The kind owner, staff, Ashia, and her kindness is greatly appreciated, the lady whom I call Mamngwevu (her clan name) has been amazing, she made sure that our room was kept clean and neat. The place is also secured.

Coral Wood is really beautifully finished, it was comfortable and was perfect for my needs. The common area and deck is lovely, and had we spent more time there would have been fully enjoyed and utilised. Wonderful to have a coffee machine in this area. Our room was great, could have done with something to hang clothing, but it wasn't a major problem. I appreciated the fan in the room but imagine that during hot weather an aircon would be good. Nice touches -bottled water, cold drinks, cut greenery, hand & body wash. Nice towels - all really good! Also mod access control to gate and room - no keys to lose! The breakfast suited my needs perfectly as I was out of the room early, so it was very convenient. I think they could get a little more creative with the breakfast but the food was fresh, conveniently presented and worked for me. We had breakfast in the "common' dining room one day, as we had more time and that was really nice. So many beautiful birds, enjoyed watching them at the birdfeeder. Also a really nice touch to have a mini library. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Coral Wood and would have no hesitation about going back again! Thanks for everything!

Tiny thing, for 2 people - I think 4 coffee cups would be great for evening and am drinks - but really not an issue at all!

I liked that they had a coffee station, very thoughtful and just the little details. We were also greeted with a snack platter, VERY NICE! The room was comfortable, the bathroom was beautiful and clean.

I guess there is a teenee weenee lack of privacy or perhaps the bedroom we booked. The room we booked was a bit small, our luggage basically took up the little space there was.

Tv access with Netflix, showmax and Youtube. The room was spacious. The surroundings are quiet.

The caretaker accused me of causing electricity blackout to the facility. Electricity traps from my room, apparently. The ambient room temperature not being controlled by the aircon was very cold. Geyser water is not 100% warm, apprently property uses solar energy. Cold weather = Cold waters Breakfast prepped for you the day before, kept in the fridge over the night.
