I highly recommend this B&B. Clean, neat, tidy, cozy with a lovely peaceful ambience. The owner is an absolute hospitable gem! He is kind & generous and was gracious enough to allow me to stay a few hours after checkout time - which is at 10:00- as I had to attend to an important appointment and, my trip back home was delayed. If I ever have to book accommodation in EL again, I will definitely return to Selborne B&B!

The staff was friendly, the owner also gave us time after check out time to wait for our transport and they had to prepare the room for the next guests. Beds were comfortable, sheets clean and all

The floor had old patches, they need to tile the floor or put a huge rug to cover the whole floor. The room was also cold and they didn’t have heaters and electric blankets

Everything met my expectations. Could not attend breakfast, but the guest house manager prepared breakfast hampers for me instead and was very helpful in all aspects. TV and WIFI met expectations,

Awesome hospitality by the staff and very accommodating to my early start and late finish schedule. Location was great and safe - very close to a centre and restaurants. and your suggestions of Jules on Jarvis helped so much! I walked to get dinner each night so that was fabulous

Wifi was a bit week in my room so made working in the evenings tricky as I rely on constant connection but appreciated even having some wifi!

Very lovely place and very friendly people. Absolutely enjoyed my stay. Jemma was really helpful and definitely made my stay quite enjoyable.

I do not have anything negative to comment about the place. It was definitely worth it.

Location off the main stream and close proximity to N2 for travel. Found easily. Bedding good and bed very comfortable. Fresh milk for coffee appreciated.

No loadshedding schedule given for out of towners, I suggest an whatsapp or sms to clients on period of stay

Staff were very friendly and very much accomodating, especially the B&B manager Tannie Martie whom accomodated us and catered for our needs during our stay, and making us feel very welcomed. Great place, situated in a safe and generally quiet area, and close to a shopping center, food outlets and which is pretty much convenient if you need to run out to get some things.

Breakfast was done to perfection

Shower and hand basin could do with single lever mixers. For the shower, it would allow a person to adjust the water temperature and be able to shut the water off when soaping. Would help with the water restrictions.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Marti is an excellent hostess and I felt immediately welcomed and it truly felt like a home away from home. Breakfast was superb, with an array of coffees, teas,cereals and yoghurt and the full english breakfast was delicious. My room was extremely comfortable, spacious and clean. There is also a delightful sitting room, small deck and garden space to relax (or work in). I was made to feel very welcome and will certainly stay here again. Heartily recommended as an excellent B&B
