The overall ambience and bushveld feel was very back to nature yet the accommodation was very beautiful and luxurious. The snack packs in the fridge was a lovely surprise thank you!

For my personal preference I did not like the look of the cement floor in the bathroom - it does not fit the luxurious theme. The only other suggestion will be to please put up a sign board towards all rooms - we kept on finding room 1 - 3, but not our room nr. 6

I am lost for words. The place was exceptionally beautiful. Within our room we woke up to the beautiful view of the mountains with the sound of the birds and waterfall and sitting out the deck in the afternoon watching the sunset. I must admit the place is really beautiful and exceeding all our expectations. It is located in the heart of Hilton and very private and cozy for a young couple. I would definitely recommend this place if you wanna spend some quality time with your partner. Then the staff was very welcoming from the reception to the dinning area. they all had welcoming smiles, their breakfast was really amazing and again the view was exceptional. My partner and I had an amazing time together. We will definitely be coming back again. I will recommend it a thousand times yes.

There is nothing we hated about the place it was exceptional.

Firstly, is the location stunning and it's a true bushveld experience. Then the apartment was something out of a magazine with the most beautiful view and then I don't want to mention the rooms and bathrooms. It had everything and more

sjoe there is nothing not to like as this is a stunning place. The apartment had everything you would need to make the stay a wonderful experience as well as you get a homely feeling. I would recommend the accommodation.

I asked for a quiet room and the manager very kindly accommodated my request. The room was modern, clean and incredibly quiet and peaceful. The bed linen and towels were wonderfully clean. The facilities are perfect for self catering. The view was stunning! I will definitely stay here again for all future trips to the Midlands.

Cutlery and kettle could have been cleaner.

The lodge and room was very private so you got lots of peace and quiet. The private balcony was great with such an awesome view. The breakfast was very delicious. We did a trail walk and was great views!

There was no wifi in the rooms and the signal was quite bad so struggled to sometimes google places or reach people while in the room. There was no generator when there was load shedding. With load shedding between 2.5-4.5 hours, it makes it difficult without power as the room gets hot so need the fan or when load shedding is in the evening, cannot heat any food and restaurants are minimum 20 mins away to travel to.

It is a beautiful place, and the suite we stayed in was comfortable with everything you can need. The breakfast staff and cleaning staff was super friendly and helpful

Our place was only cleaned the first day, the office staff has a bit of a funny attitude, with uncomfortable sarcasm. There is no back up for load-shedding, only a flimsy torch that needs to be charged. We spent most of our time away from the lodge because we could do anything without electricity, which makes makes the place very expensive if your only going to sleep there and not use the facility to its fullest potential:( Our braai was cleaned the first day and never brought back. There was no covered parking offered, only after a big heal storm we were informed we could use the “private parking”

A lovely spacious, two bedroom lodge, ideal for our family of four. Great to be in the bush even though relatively close to Hilton. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We were visiting from overseas and it was great to have a firepit as well as an indoor fireplace. The large outside deck was perfect for meals and sundowners.

The cottage was lovely, but a couple of taps in the bathroom could have done with some maintenance.

The lodge is absolutely stunning, calm and serene. Good sized room, clean and comfortable. Loved the little snack bag offered each day..

It would have been nice if the hotel had offered breakfast or dinner given there is a beautiful space for it and the lodge is far from any restaurants or shops.

The view from the room was exceptional. The room had all the necessary facilities. The bed was really comfortable.

The only thing we didn't like had nothing to do with the lodge. The road coming into the lodge was a bit concerning with the rain we had. Luckily our car managed the mud and slippery hill. This is not an issue with light rain.

Beautiful views of the waterfall from our unit. Quiet and peaceful. The host was amazing. Arrange a braai stand and extra for us to have a traditional South African get-together with friends. The lodge is well kept and super clean. Everything you can expect and more. The price was very reasonable. Absolutely a must visit.
