I rarely rate a place as 10, but this one truly deserves it! In my first night here I saw lions hunting which was incredibly amazing to see! So I saw some animals before my safari actually started and without leaving the lodge which was great! The staff and the guests were so lovely that I already miss them all. The food was fabulous even for a picky eater like myself, once, they made me something different than anyone else because I don’t eat everything which was super nice of them and really appreciated! The tent was nice and comfy. I booked 3 full days safari with them, and each day I saw something different and interesting, but most importantly I saw wild dogs which was the animal I really wanted to see the most! Not to mention that I’ve seen all the other typical animals including the big five, but it is worth mentioning that it’s a game of luck to see these animals. In my first day of safari I saw 4 of the big five, in my second day I saw a leopard with its prey up a tree and nothing else that day, in the third day I saw lions, rhinos “the last of the big five” and wild dogs, that’s when I was super happy!! So each day of the safari brought us something different. Highly recommended.
Nothing that I can think of! But as a note, the wifi doesn’t work well in the tents area, just in the common areas, which wasn’t actually a problem at all, I’m not there to spend my time on the internet anyway.

The whole lodge is exceptional and our stay was magical. The way Charmaine and Anton greeted us felt like arriving home. The lodge is 2 mins by car to the nearest Kruger Gate, so the location is also perfect. The atmosphere in the lodge is unique, the huge terrace provided a great spot for animal watching while they were coming to Crocodile river. The food is amazing, bbq nights were our favorites. The rooms are clean and spacious with an amazing view on the river and Kruger park. The garden is also very well maintained, the flora is beautiful. All in all, the whole staff is very friendly and attentive. We will definitely return, we are talking about our experience here ever since.

The location next to Crocodile River and the Kruger gate was ideal. The hosts Armand and Keishalee (sp?) were personable and lovely to talk with and all the staff members were very kind and friendly. Breakfast and dinner good, one repeat lodger said they return to the lodge based on location and good food. The honor bar is reasonably priced and included a selection of beer, wine, and ciders. If you go on early AM safari, they pack some food for you to take along. They arranged for a safari tour w/guide Dylan and we enjoyed his enthusiasm and passion during our hours w/him. We had a river view room which looked right out on the river. We saw many animals from the room such as hippos and elephants while sitting on our patio. It was a great stay and we would definitely return should we be back in the area.
Nothing.

Everything. Location is superb, really close to crocodile brigde gate and to Komatipoort, allowing to buy groceries in town for the game drives. The facilities was amazing, we have booked a riverfront room and it was the best decision, have had the opportunity to watch impalas, hyppos, elephants and even LIONS from inside our room. Staff was great, friendly and helpful. Breakfast box for sunrise game drives was really good and served us for both breakfast and lunch during the day at the park. Dinner was really good and fun. Could not recommend this place enough, had one of the best times of our lives here.
Shower is a bit difficult to tune, but totally manageable. Everythingn was great!!

Our stay at Crocodile Bridge Safari Lodge was the highlight of our 3 week stay in South Africa. The animal viewing from the lodge was incredible, we watched a herd of 100s of elephants pass by from the pool. At night the we saw hippos, water buffalo and a Civet cat! Some of our best and closest viewings were at the lodge. The hosts, Charmaine and Anthony were the best. So warm and welcoming with the most hilarious stories and tips to share. I had high hopes for the food and it was absolutely to die for! We looked forward to dinner every night, trying many traditional South African dishes each one as delicious as the last (thank you Wendy!!). Honestly we would come back just for the food alone. Location wise, You can’t get better in terms of being close to the park, it’s a 1 min drive away. Our rooms were cleaned everyday and we were given a packed breakfast if we were going to be leaving early for the park. Every detail was thoughtful and really made the trip so special. 1000/1000 would recommend to anyone wanting the perfect safari experience.
Literally nothing.

From the minute we arrived we knew that we were in for an amazing time. The sun was just setting, the fire lit and there were two elephants strolling past the boundary fence! We stayed in both the room and tent and although the tent offers the perfect safari experience were happy with either. Both options offer comfortable, air conditioned, clean and well maintained accommodation with exceptional views from covered verandas. Breakfasts are all individually cooked and there’s the option of a packed cooler box to take if you’re on an early safari drive. Every evening we gathered for pre dinner drinks followed by shared food with new friends. Alan and Michelle are the most perfect hosts along with Keishe-Lee, Armand and Wendy who collectively make for an exceptionally memorable stay. Location wise I don’t think you could get better; within minutes of Crocodile Bridge gate, but if like us, you’re happy to just relax and take in the sights, sounds and atmosphere of ‘the bush’ then the covered decked area is the place to be, where we spent many an hour watching the hippos, buck and elephants. Little things that meant a lot to us- coffee, tea ice and filtered water available 24/7 - help yourself swimming towels - binoculars and night torch to borrow. But after all is said and done about the ‘domestics’ what is really apparent is that this place has been nurtured by Alan and Michelle who over 12 years have built and created somewhere with real soul.

Excellent stay for 4 days and super location for Kruger entrance. Good set up for guests, communal fridges for water / wine which you pay at end of stay. Lookout is a sociable space to view the river etc and evening meals together was great for catching up on sightings - the food was delicious each night! Breakfast bags available for those early starts too. Room spacious and air conditioning fab Loved the river deck - we saw hippo families, elephants up close and more. Super helpful couple running the business- we felt right at home. Local town 4km away for supplies, restaurants etc and the owner recommended lunch at golf club - fabulous We booked a drive with them and Dirk was brilliant- highly recommended Pool and relaxing area also great - I shared my swim with a lovely baby frog - the wildlife around the property was amazing- lizards everywhere and we parked under their mango tree! Special place highly recommended
Wee mix up / misunderstanding with pricing of the safari - quoted us 24 rates in the contract however pricing hadn’t been updated for 25 - handled well enough given we only had cash for the quoted amount

The view is amazing, straight to the park, and into the wilderness. You wake up, and immediately see animals on the shore. You’re on the pool, and they are right in front of you. Breathtaking.

The hosts are amazing and you can feel and tell they love to make their guests feel at home. The location is perfect, next to the crocodile gate of the Kruger Park. This makes it really easy to go in and out. If you need anything, Allen and Melanie and the rest of the staff are there to help you. The food was delicious every day and if you go on safari early in the morning, they pack you a lunch which you can take with you. What made the location extra special, is the elephants walking on the river in front of the lodge. We were lucky to see them every day. We will definitely go back here and wouldn’t change anything!

The location is set on the river next to the entrance to the Kruger National Park. We had a river view from our room. In the evenings, you could see some Hippopotamus roaming and twice on our stay, a big herd of elephants grazed in front of the lodge. The managers and staff are very friendly and the food is very good. The bed was comfy, and a fridge was helpful to keep water and cold drinks cool. The table settings are so that guests can mingle and talk about the days activities, meeting people from all over. The hosts are lively people, and Natasha can braai like a king.
