A very warm welcome - Nicolette & her staff were charming. Nicolette cooked us a delicious breakfast & was very warm & friendly. Our room was lovely with a nice bathroom & kitchenette. It was hot when we arrived so the room was warm. No AC or ceiling fan but a standing fan worked well & we were cool enough at night. Lovely garden & a really nice place to stay in Piet Retief.

The host was very welcoming and served us tea on arrival. The rooms were very comfortable and the gardens are spectacular. The breakfast was exceptional and the best so far on our trip around south Africa. The location is very central. We will definitely stay again if in the area

Would have been nice if there was a shampoo and body wash dispenser in the shower

From letting us arrive early, Lynette treated us like old friends popping in! The "cottage" in the garden was very clean and tastefully decorated, very quiet and felt secure despite the coal trucks sadly rumbling through the streets. We have found a little dream stop, and the breakfast and omelette could only be made in a home kitchen. Thank you, if in the area again would be our choice.

If only we had been able to stay longer!!😊

The owner is amazingly kind and the staff is super friendly!!! Had a good rest stop and would definitely come back again. The good-outweighed the bad.

The cold (I wish they provided heaters in winter) even though we appreciated the electric blankets. The bins didn’t have plastics so ants had a field day🤭The wifi signal was also not so good so it was on and off.

We had a wonderful stay at LA Guesthouse, it was clean and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Braai facilities that we use were a bonus.

The parking is a bit small. My suggestion is if there can be lines painted to indicate where to park. Because some guests don't think about others and the take up space.

Amazing breakfast & spacious room. LA guesthouse is a very pretty property and staff/owners are extremely kind and welcoming! Shower was perfect !!! Not much to do in Piet relief but location is still great.

Small kitchen, and fridge wasn't working. But several restaurants nearby!

Very neat and wellkept garden. Peaceful, home away from home. Room clean, neat, special attention was given to detail. Chocolates at our bedside and chocolate and sweets for the kids. Every gadget was functional with sufficient plug points and adaptors for charging your cellphones. Good quality, comfortable beds added to our peaceful sleep. Beautiful space.

We booked the same day we checked-in, they were really quick to help us. Gave us everything we needed, did not have to call for anything.

Signage at the gate is not clearly visible out there, we almost went next door until we drove very closer to the gate.

The rooms were very nice and big. The breakfast was really good and the staff was very friendly. The staff really did there utmost best to make our stay wonderful. The garden surrounding the rooms is very lovely.

To get into the shower you had to make a huge step, because it what quite a bit higher then the bathroom. There was no light outside my room, make it difficult to enter late at night.

Our hostess was so welcoming and helpful. A big plus was our accommodation had a washing machine which was very welcome after our time spent in Kruger. One of the best breakfasts I have had on my travels. The smart tv was also most welcome. I highly recommend LA Guesthouse
