the building is fantastic, great design and sense of style. Definitely not the common guesthouse! The badroom was spacious and the beds quite comfortable. The shared areas of the guesthouse were really nice, also, such a lively kitchen area! Peter (the owner) is a great host, and he cooks breakfast every morning, which adds extra something in my opinion :). All in all the place was great, peaceful, entertaining and perfectly located in Jeju. Recommend it 100%!

Staying at Mir Guesthouse was a lovely experience! The staff was really friendly and spoke decent English, the space was very clean and cute, and the location was great too--an easy commute to the airport, a very short walk to the ocean/Dragon's Head Rock, and a 30 min walk to the Dongmun Night Market! There is also a 7-11 right next door for any needs that you might have. The staff will even make you breakfast (a toasted egg sandwich with jam) if you wish! And if you're lucky, you'll get to meet the resident dog! If you're a morning person, it's definitely worth going to the rooftop to view the sunrise.

The rooms and showers can feel a bit cramped, especially with 4 people sleeping in a single room, but that is something to be expected, as living spaces are generally on the small side in Korea.

The staff were very friendly and happy to help with everything. Facilities were clean. Located in a non-touristy area so the place is not too loud.

Unique architecture for building. Shared rooms with beds had curtains which was nice for privacy. They have powder room for ladies with hair dryer, slippers to use etc which is nice. Stored luggage for free after checkout. Staff was nice and friendly. Quiet and nice place to stay. Supermarkets and restaurants next to it which was good to have if you need anything. Every morning, the owner made egg sandwich breakfast which was best sandwich I have ever had! Owner was also very nice to help me bring my luggage down after checkout. Definitely recommend. May come back again!

The shared rooms are very small and no elevator. If you have a lot of luggage/big luggage might be difficult to have enough space and carry it to different floors.

The breakfast was very very nice. Easy to find a parking spot.

Absolutely can recommend this place! It's super clean and modern, has plenty of bathrooms and toilets, delicious breakfast, kind host. The beds have privacy curtains, a light, and a night table next to the power outlet. There is a special room for hair drying and doing ur makeup too! There is also a locker in your room. And the chilling area... *Sigh* It is so cozy! I was here on the colder days, so I stayed in the inside chill area, but the outside part looks amazing too. I did go to the rooftop for a quick look. U can see the ocean! Summerizing, u won't regret staying here. (Also this hostel was designed by a great architect, so u r staying in a master piece!)

I liked how safe everything was. There was a lock on the doors, locks for your stuff. I liked how well organized everything was and how well informed the staff was about telling us about information about the hotel. There is a dog in the common area in the morning, the cutest, the dog just minds their business but it may alarm people with allergies. the owner makes us breakfast, a simple breakfast sandwich with eggs and jam, at a very specific time 8:30-9:20 with pleasant music in the background with coffee or juice. The vibes of the place were pretty nice, honestly really not bad. I honestly believe the quality of the facilities for the overall cleanliness, safety, comfortability, and organization was very good for the price. The location was a bit far of a walking distance from the bus, about 7-15 minutes depending on the bus station.

The walls are not really soundproof, so you can hear people showering at night. Even though there was a rule of not showering after 11PM, people still showered. The shower was also see-through, so may make people insecure, but it’s not anything to worry about. Everyone is in the same boat, so no one really cares.

Overall, good stay at Mir Guesthouse. It is a modern and clean hostel with nice common areas. Staff is nice.

The location is not ideal for those wishing to explore the island. It is convenient if you are coming from or leaving for the airport. Also, as it is difficult to get around the island, it would have been nice to have some activities suggested by the hostel itself. Furthermore, the breakfast is, in my opinion, not satisfying, as the only two options are egg/mayo sandwich and jam sandwich. I think it is restrictive and could be eased.

Very clean and well looked after accommodation. Rooms are small but are well thought out. We were impressed how clean everything was, including the communal areas. Owner and staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Location is also great with a short 3 minute walk from a coast, lots of bus connections and a 15 minute walk to jeju town. Will definitely stay here again if I come back to jeju.

There could've been more hangers on the room for jackets.
