The hotel is located in a perfect spot at the edge of Insadong and Myeondong, two areas with different vibes, both popular for different reasons. It made it seem like much of central Seoul was within walking distance, and yet it wasn't on a noisy or excessively busy road. The hotel is modern and kept very clean, the room was spacious for a single person, with daily room service. The staff speak English quite well and were helpful with basic information (I did not ask for dining or visit suggestions but they helped call a museum to cancel a ticket, for example, and gave me info about travelling to the airport). There is a bakery/café on the ground floor, which was very convenient for my breakfast – I did not take the hotel breakfast option – but the area is full of cafés for all budgets and tastes.

Noise insulation can be better perhaps: in the morning I heard very clearly the cleaners working in other rooms. The bathroom taps needed some small fixing. These are details, however, I am very satisfied with the accommodation.

This hotel boasts an exceptional location, arguably offering the best value for money in Seoul. It's an ideal choice for first-time travelers seeking convenience and comfort. The staff, particularly at the reception, are incredibly accommodating. They proactively organized an early check-in for me at 11 a.m., at no extra charge, without any prior request, which was greatly appreciated. The room I stayed in was both cozy and tranquil, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the city. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seoul.

Location couldn’t have been better. The majority of sights as well as trendy cafes and lots of Shops can be reached walking (but an underground stop is also within 3 mins walking). The hotel has very comfortable beds and beddings, I slept extremely well. The staff was super nice and helpful when needed. The ground floor has a very nice little cafe and there is a small supermarket literally next door. Had a wonderful time at the hotel and would stay there again. Definitely recommend!

No complaints

The staff were lovely and the rooms were consistently clean (my particular thanks to the gentleman at the front desk whose name tag read "Patrick" and the lady whose name I didn't catch that cleaned the sixth floor). The hotel has a laundry service but there are also self-service machines in the basement for those who prefer to use them (3000 won for washing and 2000 won for the dryer at the time of writing). The toiletries left in the room (toothbrush, toothpaste, hair ties, etc.) were very useful. The hotel is centrally located, only a couple of minutes walk to the nearest train station (Jonggak). Naver Maps will tell you to use Exit 3-1 but the lifts are at Exit 3 next to Olive Young when you have suitcases. It's a safe area and there is a supermarket, two convenience stores, some restaurants, a museum, an art gallery and a police station within a hundred metres of the building entrance.

The hotel distributed fresh water bottles every day. I do appreciate this but it would be great to have some kind of note to indicate to staff when I don't need a new one. A recycling bin would also be great. For people like myself who use the bar fridge, it is just a fridge and there is no freezer section. It works well for milk, though.

The location was great, the price point was very good compared to other hotels in the area and the staff was very helpful in supporting us with split invoices and a last-minute prolongation of our stay.

The breakfast area got very busy several mornings when a large group of tourists came in. Food was sometimes missing from the buffet and on one instance I had to wait outside the dinning area before being let in due to the restaurant being at capacity.

Location was excellent, I've been to other areas before but this was the most convenient place. Hotel is close to buses and trains, walking distance to lots of attractions and eating places. All staffs had been very helpful and very kind.

The triple room size was little bit too small for 3 overseas Travellers. It should be ok for locals but not enough space to put 3 big luggages. We had very small space to move around. There were no bed side tables, which was inconvenient and beds were little bit too close to each other. Also, wished there were more cover ups in the bathroom window, I was uncomfortable with windows visible to other buildings. Need towel rails or hooks, there were 3 of us using one towel each, but only 1 hook!

I liked the location - which is literally at the entrance of Insa-dong; a very famous tourist attraction in Seoul. Also, the hotel is located about 3 minutes walk from the subway station which means its really easy to get to other places in Seoul too.

The room could have been a bit more cleaner. The major surface areas such as the bed and table tops were clean but the floor and corners of the room were still dusty. Also the corridor - which is carpeted wasnt that clean.

Our room was very close to the elevator so we asked for a change, and thanks to the reception they were able to give us a different room which was less used and more quiet. It was clean and comfortable. Location is perfect. There is a big supermarket next to the hotel which is very convenient and there is also laundry room that is easy to use.

The only point is I guess the housekeeper for the weekends is different because the rooms was not cleaned well in the weekend. The carpet was not vacuum cleaned and there were some coffee, etc stains on the floor which was not done by us.

I would score it an 8.5. Location is very convenient to attractions, F&B outlets and transport. Staff spoke English which made it easy to communicate. I happened to stay twice in this hotel. The first room was in a better condition than the second. Second one had a lingering smoke smell. The staff was apologetic and tried to freshen up the air but could not completely eradicate the smell. Both were facing the police station which was fine. Beds were quite firm but pillows were abit too thin for my liking. For the price point, i admit it is pretty good value. Hard to find a decent hotel in a centralised location especially when the price is low.

Not much wardrobe space. While a table was necessary, it was awkward for us to tip toe or climb on to the table in order to draw the curtains behind it completely closed.
