The location was brilliant for getting to all the major attractions in Seoul. The property was also in a very nice area with everything you could need in walking distance. Having a facility to wash and dry your clothes was an added bonus and the cost was very reasonable.

My room was advertised as having a city view but in the room I was given the window was up close to the building next door. When I initially raised this at check in I was told incorrect information so ended up in the room for the first 4 days of my 9 day stay. However after I saw that my class of room was still being advertised on Booking.com as having a city view I raised this with a manager and I was provided with the correct room with city view. Not all of the reception staff are as helpful as you would expect or even want from a hotel but the cleaning staff were excellent and very friendly.

The Prima Hotel Jongno in Seoul is an absolute gem! Just 200 meters from Jogyesa Temple, it's perfectly located for sightseeing. The place feels brand new, with a fresh, modern vibe. The rooms are spotless and super comfy, making you feel right at home. The staff? They’re absolute stars—friendly and ready to help with whatever you need. Plus, waking up to their delicious buffet breakfast is the perfect start to any day. This hotel has everything for a great stay, whether you're in town for fun or work!

Honestly, there wasn’t anything to complain about. From the pristine rooms to the helpful staff, everything exceeded expectations. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend the location, right next to Insadong shopping street, restaurants, bars, bakeries etc. and also in walking distance to the two famous palaces and Jogyesa temple that are among the main attractions. Getting from the airport was easy and affordable with bus #6002, but you can also take #6011. Google Maps shows you these options and works well in Seoul. I would imagine it would be pretty costly by taxi as it was around 1.5 hour journey each way. The rooms are basic but clean with comfortable beds and we also got a quiet corner room on the top floor, so no complaints there.

Breakfast was a lackluster (for us at least), so we decided to skip it after the first two days and ate outside. There are nice bakeries and cafes nearby, so we wished we had not paid for it upfront.

The Prima Hotel is in a fantastic location in Jongno if you're a tourist. It was super close to the Insadong cultural area and walking distance from Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village and Cheongdeokgung Palace. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite, helping us to book taxis and arrange a dinner reservation, and very understanding of our one-word Korean vocabulary (thank you). There was always someone on the desk who could help us in English. They even called our taxi when we left something behind in the lobby on our last day! Beds were comfortable, showers great, and there was a useful 24h coin-op laundry, and snack and vending machine. The cafe on site had coffees, pizza, fresh juice and mini pastries, a good option if you're after a very quick breakfast or evening meal and too tired to continue exploring! Also lots of art to look at in the public areas, so a nice ambience.

Nothing! I would have liked a little more wardrobe space or drawer space for a week-long stay but that's not really a problem, I just left some stuff rolled in my suitcase. Couldn't work out the tv but didn't need it.

Great location close to subway/bus, restaurants, shopping. My room was spacious, with plenty of room for working at the desk, storing clothes in the closet, etc. The Wifi worked well. Bed was comfy. Amenities provided (bathrobes, slippers, tea/coffee, etc.) were nice. My room was fairly quiet, which is important to me. I was very comfortable there and, while it was more expensive than other similar hotels in other parts of Korea, it felt like a pretty good value for Seoul. Breakfast is an extra charge but had a decent spread and wasn't crowded on the morning I went; there aren't many other places nearby to get breakfast, especially before 9am.

The front desk staff sometimes didn't seem like they were fully paying attention and trying to understand and assist me (especially on check-in), so this made my stay feel a bit impersonal. The gym was a bit small, without many machines, though it's nice to have it. I wish the coffee shop downstairs opened earlier. I loved having a separate shower stall but it was still impossible to keep water from spraying all over the floor of the bathroom because the curtain was too short. But overall these were small issues and I'd stay again.

The location of the hotel was amazing - within walking distance or short bus rides to all major attractions, markets and shops so definitely a nice plus! There are multiple major bus stops below which was nice. I reserved room without breakfast but one day I took it in the hotel - it was quite nice at a relatively nice price with a bit of local and international choice. The staff were very nice and helped me find some locations nearby I was searching for. Overall I had a nice stay here.

The room overall was quite nice, although I missed a little bit of extra space to put somewhere my luggage.

This hotel was excellent. The rooms were lovely and quiet, although a bit small for 3 people. However, the amenities and location were perfect and the staff was very helpful and welcoming! It's a smaller size hotel, which I appreciated in a great location in Seoul. We didn't eat at the hotel but there are a number of coffee shops and restaurants near by and easily accessible. The street behind the hotel is full of little shops and eateries and lively at night. There is a lovely Buddhist temple across the street from the front of the hotel that is most welcoming. The price was right and I would definitely stay here again.

My brother lost his key card and was charged US $8 which I thought was a bit excessive.

Tasty breakfast with very many choices. We especially love the salad bar, which provides veggies that are hard to find in typical Korean foods. This hotel has the best location we could ask for - in the lovely Insadong area, within walking distance to many of Seoul’s main historical sites, yet further away from the crowds and noise of Mingdong and Namdaemun. The hotel is also very close to a major subway station!! Hotel staff members, especially the breakfast room staff, are very nice and helpful. We really enjoy our stay.

We dislike our room windows’ very closely facing the next door building. We had to keep our window curtains closed for the entire four days of our stay. We are disappointed that a “deluxe room” on the 12th floor turned out having such horrible outside view! Another thing we dislike is that in our room there wasn’t a closet to hang up our clothes (except a few hangers on the wall) or any drawers to put our clothing in at all. All of our belongings had to stay in our luggage throughout our four night stay. I wonder if all the deluxe double rooms are all like this? If not for these two issues, we would not hesitate to rate the Prima Hotel as a 10 because we really enjoyed our stay there. :)
