A warm welcome to a beautifully stylish and comfortable b&b. Although situated on a steep hill, the location is close to a spectacular fort that is definitely worth visiting. Angela and Ash provided a generous breakfast and helpful suggestions that enhanced our trip. It certainly befits the description of boutique, with quality fixtures and fittings and hosts that are personally attentive.

For us there was nothing not to like but I guess some people might find climbing the hill to the front door a bit of a challenge.

The couple were very welcoming from when we arrived to when we left. The pool was very welcome with the hot weather. The house was decorated lovely

For us it was the steep hill. We walked to the centre to get food and drink which took us around 15 mins and got a taxi back. The ensuite room was brilliant for our friends but the bed in our room was on the small side.

Lovely place, carefully decorated, all comforts. The best and homemade breakfast we ever found! Castle view from our room. Native English welcome suits international travelers. Need to come back in summer to benefit of the beautiful terrace and swimming pool.

(Not related to the BnB nor the host) The town: has a beautiful view from all corners of the castle uphill, but the town itself has really little to offer, in particular for eating on a Sunday end-October evening.

Glorious bed and pool, fantastic hosts, great location and small surrounding town. Great views from the Fortaleza just a few minutes walk away. Superbly equipped, very quiet and private. Cute dogs! Couldn't ask for more!

I'm decently tall (187cm / 6'2") and banged my head a few times in the bathroom of the King Studio room upstairs. Can't really fault the hosts for that. But if you're taller than I, choosing a different room could be wise! ;)

The owners were very accommodating and really friendly. It is a very quirky property and has been decorated beautifully. I especially liked the outdoor space where the pool is.

The only thing we found difficult was negotiating the extremely steep narrow one way streets to travel to and from the town centre.

A traditional Spanish breakfast with excellent olive oil. A great location, a stone's throw from the fortress and close to the town centre and Barrio de la Cruces. The owners were very friendly and helpful, with great local knowledge. A beautiful rustic house with lots of character and individual touches. Excellent, all round. I'll stay here again when I'm next in the area.

There was nothing not to like about this B&B.

We loved everything about Atelier 88 - it’s location in the old town, the character of the property, the space and cleanliness of all the rooms and access to a lovely patio at the back and pool. Every amenity was available and supply of water and wine upon arrival was a nice touch. The bedroom and bathroom were very spacious and tastfully decoarated with quality finishes. Eventhough we ate out all of the time there was access to a kitchen were you could store and perpare you own food and drinks and a lounge area for watching TV or listening to music just off the patio. They have thought of everything! Thank-you Angela & Ash for your hospitality and offereing help and advice for our stay in Alcala.

Angela and Ash great hosts and spotlessly clean. Loved the swimming pool and beautiful outdoor garden.

Just a small comment only. As a bnb the breakfast let it down, was self service, wouldn't take much for the breakfast to served or plated. Other wise lovely.

Generous breakfast. Superb location near the fortress. A lot of time and effort has gone into the design and decor. Everything works! Fabulous patio courtyard and saltwater pool. Great place to stay in summer and would also consider winter as it has gas central heating so will be cosy. Friendly and proactive hosts - would definitely recommend and return.

Loved the pool area to cool down, friendly hosts and simple but lovely breakfast all set out for you when you get up. Can't fault this place. We loved it. Room was so well decorated and bathroom was also great.
