The location is amazing. One of the best spots I've ever been. Surrounded by the sea that goes and comes as a result of the Cantabria see tides, gives you a complete diferent landscape every day. The hotel restaurant, often rewarded in the past by the Michelin guide, is still a very good place to eat a fantastic see food.

Supposedly, an energy program to reduce costs, resulted on a very suffocating nights at the hotel room. It was not one day or two due to some technical problems (as stated by the personal) but at the entire week with night temperatures above 23-24 degrees. The employees, specially at the restaurant were also suffering from this "green policy" that the hotel decided to implement.

We were touring in Northern Spain and the Olimpo was our last hotel before getting the ferry back to the UK. We arrived at the hotel on a Saturday afternoon. A wedding reception was in full swing. Nevertheless, we were dealt with quickly at reception. The restaurant was open so we went for a late lunch. The staff were attentive and friendly and we were quickly seated. I was pleasantly surprise to learn that the restaurant had been Michelin listed before the Pandemic. The quality of the food on offer still matched this status (and at a very respectable cost). There is also a good wine selection not unreasonably priced. The room was comfortable and the associated terrace offered splendid views across the adjacent beach. Although the furnishings are outdated, that is trivial compared to the value for money this hotel offered. We look forward to staying there again.

Superb location, walk straight onto the beach or straight into the small town. Even have a boatman on duty to help you across the water at high tide. Spotless room with perfect views onto the beach and mountains. Food excellent. What more could you ask for.

Nothing to say other than this isn't a five star luxury hotel its a really decent 4 star family hotel and good value for money.

Good sized car park. Lovely welcome. Beautiful, clean room with fantastic views across the pool and bay. Great choice for breakfast and the breakfast room overlooks the bay, perfect start to the day! We only wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back. We stopped at four hotels during our 'Tour' of Spain and this was by far the best hotel we stayed at. Thanks you Hotel Olimpo

A lovely hotel on the peninsula. The receptionist explained everything to us in beautiful English which was really appreciated. The hotel was spotless and away from the road. It had its own beach and pool. A perfect place to spend the last night of our holiday. We booked a superior room with terrace, sea view and half board. Really good value. The evening meal was delicious and breakfast had all you could want. We had the most amazing view of the bay. The hotel provides swimming towels.

Great location; beautiful lush gardens with little beach coves. bedrooms offer great views. Renovated restaurant and bar has a cool modern vibe (slightly at odds with more traditional rooms and building). Good food. Fabulous lemon sorbet. Very clean. Quiet.

Furnishings and the building at large is starting to age. You could see this as part of the charm and clearly an opportunity to fulfill the potential of its four stars and location. Staff were kind and provided what we needed, but could do with more customer service training - eg spotting when we needed more drinks.

Excellent restaurant. And the breakfast was outstanding. For dinner in the restaurant we had the best Paella ever. All of the staff were very nice.

It's not that I didn't like this, but there are a lot of families with kids. I prefer to stay in adult only properties, but again this isn't a problem. Just tends to get a little loud with the kids running around. But I don't mind. We had young children many years ago and it was just a nice reminder.

Hotel is quite old but in a very good condition and very helpful stuff. Uniq location where the hotel is surrounded by ocean, seems like you are "between 2 seas", when you need a boat to cross the water after 17:00. It's an amazing especially for kids. Nice restaurant with delicious food despite some dishes were too salted.

Superb location and views from the room. Large free car park. Comfortable beds. Hotel has a modern fel to it.

Some catering staff didn't appear interested in their residents and didn't engage. A bit distant and not friendly enough. Breakfast and dinner seemed to lack direction and organisation although the food was very good. Air conditioning in the bedroom was ineffective. Bedroom shower was weak.

Blissful location .. overlooking the bay and walking distance to both Noja and Isla only if you fancy a walk, as the food in the hotel was amazing as well! The boat giving people lifts across the stream during high tide was such a wonderful and charming service ..
