We actually stayed for three nights the town is lovely plenty to see. We changed rooms after the first night to one with a window over the court yard. The typical Andalusian court yard is lovely to sit in. The hotel is in a good location in the centre of the town but easy to get to from the bus station.

Our room for the first night was small with no window you needed the light on. It had a strange smell too. There was nothing wrong with the second room.

Lovely historic property with really helpful multilingual reception staff and we were able to get secure parking (for a fee ) at the hotel. The room was basic but clean and comfortable- we were paying budget prices- suspect they may have better premium rooms but this was perfect for a one night stay right in the heart of the town. The secure onsite covered parking was a real bonus. A restaurant next door was good value- indeed everything in Antequera good value compared to the inflated tourist prices in other Spanish cities. On street parking would have been difficult.

We liked the furnishings and the ambience of our room. The hotel is located in central Antequera but was only 16-17 minutes walking distance to Dolmen de Menga, a nearly 6000 years old tomb complex. We loved the hot bath after a long day of train ride and sightseeing.

The hotel doesn’t provide breakfast. We had to go to a cafeteria for breakfast. We stayed in room 101 which faced the Plaza Viejo square and was noisy with Christmas Eve songs, etc.

the location was terrific. in the heart of Antequera, on a square that has tourist information, the city museum, church, cafe, and. restaurant. it’s walking distance to the Moorish fortress if you don’t mind climbing a hill. It is a small older hotel with rooms around an inner courtyard. The room was simple, with a comfortable bed, spacious closet, nice, clean bathroom. Front desk staff were pleasant. There is secure parking adjacent to the hotel for €10 a day.

It was the type of typical Spanish hotel I wanted. Simple but perfectly clean and functional. The private garage was a definite selling point.

Because the room was situated at the front of the hotel, and the hotel faced onto a busy road, it was quite noisey at any time day or night.

Central location very near to bars, restaurants & shops. Clean hotel with a lovely little central courtyard to sit & have free coffee. Parking on site, pre booked for €10 a night. Receptionist very helpful.

Twin beds were a bit on the small side but ok for the one night we stayed. Shower was a bit poor but again ok for one night.

Excellent location and very easy to get to by car. On site parking was easy and very secure. Easy access to local tourist attractions and restaurants, cafes and bars. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room had a good bathroom and was very clean and comfortable.

The room we had was adequate but not large - the double bed was up against one wall which could be a problem for older travellers and only had one small window to the bedroom and one to the bathroom with no views from either.

The hotel is located in Plaza Coso Viejo one important Plaza en Antequera. The hotel has a wonderful view of the moorish Alcazaba sitting on top of mount. The hotel receptionist Ana was very courteous and helped us to find out the train schedule leaving from Antequera train station AV The hotel is conveniently located to a nearby supermarket and restaurants.

Great location in the centre of the old part of Antequera, surrounded by history and views of the castle. Lovely room, friendly staff who treated us like family. Our must go to hotel in Antequera. Always a pleasure to see the staff and stay in our second home.
