The buba house is a very nice accommodation. The location is perfect, you can reach the subway etc. very quickly. The staff are very friendly and helpful. In the kitchen you will find everything you need and you will quickly come into contact with the other residents. Importantly for travelers there is no age restriction, which is the case with most accommodations. The shared bathrooms on the floor are always cleaned regularly. Just like the kitchen every evening. Whether you have a twin room(window backyard no daylight) or a double room( out to the street), every room has its advantages. Which you have to find out for yourself. Plus point for luggage storage. Perfect

There is nothing serious about it.

Check in was easy and reception was available until late. The location was perfect. The showers and bathrooms were clean and updated. The shower had great water pressure. And the beds were actually one of the more comfortable ones that I had slept in during my entire 3 week trip to Spain. I didn’t even mind that it was a bunk bed. The location was easy to find. It was close to the train. Noise level was good. Would stay again.

The only real complaint I had was that there wasn’t really a window in the room. I mean there was, but it opened up into a weird little gap between the buildings that was like 3 feet wide. And it was enclosed so no light. But it wasn’t really a big deal.

The staff is very nice and helpful. Easy contact with the object. The room is tiny, but very clean and has everything you need. Bathrooms very nice and clean. Every day, the cleaning lady cleaned the bathrooms. Access to the kitchen if needed. Free WiFi I highly recommend Buba House. The location is perfect. Nearby attractions, subway, bus stops, cafes and shops :)

The only small minus is the windows that open to the wall, which makes it very stuffy, but each room has a cooling device

The hostel's in a central part of the city, walking distance from the airport bus, near lots of shopping and eating options, and very near a well connected metro station. Staff were friendly and helpful. All the basic things were provided for. There is a lift, though it is very small, so it's usually used for luggages or more elderly people. I prefer the stairs, but there is this option if you're willing to wait during peak periods.

The shower is on the small side, and the room can be stuffy with just one window and a fan. There was a heat wave when we were there, and the fan provided was not sufficient to blow at both bunk beds.

Excellent location, close to passeig de gracia. Next door was nice big supermarket with decent prices. Plaza Catalunia just 5-10 min walk. Room was big enough for 6 beds with lockers. As the building is old, it was a bit noisy but ear plugs did their job. Kitchen had everything you need, even some free stuff to use. Bathrooms and toilets were clean. Bed was comfortable. Price was amazingly low. No extra charge for towels and linen as in the other hostels.

The room was a decent size. The bed was comfy, everything was clean. Towels were included. Staff very friendly and helpful. Amazing location, right in the centre of Barcelona, close to Metro. Would stay again.

The room was very warm, there was a ceiling fan which helped though. It was also quite dark as there was not much natural light. I got locked in one of the bathrooms as the door was very dodgy but reception were very helpful in releasing me!

Very good location . The subway was 7 minutes away , next to casa battló . The room we were staying was comfortable , clean and only the bathroom was public . The staff were friendly and helpful . Totally recommend it !! :)

The lighting in the room wasn’t good . We were staying on 2nd floor and the elevator was a bit non functional and we had to use the stairs.

The location was THE BEST, the price was amazing, and I love the fact that I didn't pay extra for booking a female dorm (which is usually the case) the place felt more like a big apartment rather than a hostel which is a BONUS. Apparently on Saturdays there is free pizza but I didn't know about it.

Quite noisy but it's because of the location, so nothing you can do about it.. we had to sleep with the window open since it was quite hot even for November. Also the shower had some problems with the hot/cold water... A small detail, there aren't any key lockers once you do check out, which is usually not a problem for me but I asked if I could leave my backpack inside my room's locker just for an hour (because I was traveling with my laptop) they said no. I didn't want to risk leaving it without a key so I had to carry it around the city.

Location is wonderful. Everyone at the reception was amazingly friendly and nice. We met some new fellows in the kitchen, and the kitchen itself is well equipped. We had no problems cooking, eating and having coffee for free was super nice bonus. There’re also free mini-croissants and tea. They even had free pizza hours on Thursdays and Saturdays. Beds were ok, free towels wonderful.

We stayed on the second floor, and the bathrooms were not quite clean ;( the showers looked quite filthy, so I couldn’t make myself stand there with my bare feet. And there wasn’t AC in the rooms, but it was stated so nothing to complain about. We were provided with two big fans, so sleeping was comfortable enough.

It is a good hostel in the center of Barcelona with walking distance to Playa de Catalunya, House Battlo, Sagrada Familia and to the Sea. The staff of the Hostel are friendly, i liked that they send me in advance all of information I needed to get to the Hostel, that was very helpful. After walking all day and sightseeing in Barcelona I was happy to come to Buba House and have a cup of hot tea in the cozy kitchen and relax in my bed. In the kitchen there are a fridge, teapot, microwave, coffee machine and some dishes. The shower and toilets were clean, the bed was comfortable and sheets clean and ironed. Next door to the Hostel there is a good supermarket. I felt like I had my own lovely place to stay in Barcelona and that's was great! Thank you, Buba House, I will definitely come back!
